BMW and M Power Owners

Shame really as a great E46 is a lovely car.

Yep I thought this might be the case but was just trying to kid myself; it is a crying shame. For me the E46 as a total package was a better car than the E90/2 with the exception of iDrive, which is awesome.

Still trying to find a nice car to commute to work in, and have made one decision so far, and that's to stick with BMW as that's what I know and like. What do you guys think of this? I need to call them on Monday and enquire as to how many owners it's had and what kind of service history it is. I'm sticking with a 530d Sport estate. I considered the 535d but don't need the extra power.

Just keep in mind that they tend to be considerably more expensive than the equivalent e46 - not many (any?) petrol manuals about either if that's an issue for me.

Not a car I've got a lot of love for if I'm honest, not because it was bad....more because it just wasn't that good at anything

True. If I find a nice 330d Sport Touring with xenons and heated seats I'll jump on it.

Me again, I know I keep cropping up all over the place in the search for a car. This looks nice, but I'm reluctant to buy from an independant dealer; fortunately it's not too far away. Could need some maintenance but for less than 3k it has a nice spec and full BMW service history according to the advert.
