BMW and M Power Owners

I took my 911 into Porsche and they gave me a 2012 C2S cab and a New boxer the other time. I loved the PDK so much that Im going to change my car when I can afford it.

Ha yes that's their tactic, take in a Cayenne and they give you a Cayenne S, mate started in Porsche Park Lane as a delivery driver then salesman now VW, it's part of the selling strategy said it was very errr effective.

well it works very well, I will get something with a PDK at some point soon.

For those who've switched from runflats to non-runflats, did you follow the same tyre pressure figures as per your door jams? Been doing a bit of research, and some suggest increasing the PSI?

E92 320i M-Sport 19inch. Fronts Bridgstone runflats, rears Continental non-runflats.

I've been looking online again (fortnightly thing), it seems that a 330i Msport cab under 15k/60k miles with Nav & cream leather, is rare as hen's teeth.

However, I have seen quiet a few 325i cab M-sport that fits the bill. It is still a V6, and still can do 0-60 in 7.6.

Question is, what advantages, if any, of the 325i over the 330i? Are they any less thirsty in real life? Does it still have the same engine note?

The only advantage of a 325i over a 330i is that its easier to find and cheaper. The engine is otherwise the same, both are 3 litre. Economy is the same. Sub 15k is quite an ask for a low mileage M Sport cab with navigation. They generally cost more.

It's also not a V6 :p

Found a 325i cab M sport, 29k miles, cream leather, full BMWSH, 1 owner, 57 plate at £14k near where I work.

:( about the not V6 part...didn't know that! Ah well.

I mean I can't say "I drive a V6!"

Just being a bit pedantic like you :p

You never have been able to, BMWs smallest V configuration engine (in a car) is the V8. All 6 cylinder engines in BMWs are in-line 6.

There is also nothing special about being able to say 'I have a V6', V8 maybe, but most 'normal' people are shocked if someone owns an engine larger than 2.0 these days anyway.

V6 doesn't sound very impressive to me, V8 maybe but 6, nah.
In fact I think you'd struggle to find anybody who is impressed by it in todays day and age of eco-warriors.

I've driven a vectra V6. You've driven a calibre V6.

Both are very good examples of why simply V6 isn't impressive.

Now if you add a couple of turbos.... :D

thats not the worst idea yknow.

evo diff is actually a lower fd isnt it? my 3.0 would love that.

build it all up in the garage, drive in, remove refit, win.

if you were to put yours up for sale, how much would it likely to be? :D

I just converted my 328i to 3.2 EVO Diff.. Made quite a good improvement. However my car is fully stripped out..

Ordered a 328i M Sport in the end. Just looks like a better compromise as the non-M Sport trim looks too bland and leaves no money for options. Decided I can't pass up the opportunity to have another petrol car either since the car after this will almost certainly be whatever is putting out 80mpg at the time :)

The toque is lacking being a 4 pot but 240hp and should be enough even if it does need a good thrashing :D
