Sure but Fox has a really good handle on BMW values where I don't really have much of a clue

It's a Nov 2013 car so I don't really now how much impact that will have on the value of the car even though its only done 14 miles

Not in the way you'd hope. It's got a bit of a cult status, but limited to BMW enthusiasts and in no way near something like a CSL or 3.0L CSI/CSL. Very unlike the 911; most classic models are being snapped up and put into collections. Your money would be better placed in Porsche, maybe a 996. It's this generations 964
You were after a 14 plate at £30k I beleive - so around that. They will doubtless argue it's 'basically new' which it sort of is but not to the market as soon as you start using it, it's 18 months old already.
F10 values are so bizarre, 4-5 year old 530d M Sports are still circa £23k with sensible miles on

In all honesty most of it is just dirt, but I do have a paint correction idea niggling in the back of my mind to sort out a few bits and pieces.
Vox, got any paint?
I would expect a low miles pristine e61 M5 to appreciate slowly but steadily, your talking long term though but it's certainly likely.
Low numbers and being something "special" should firmly put it in the appreciating Classic category I'd have thought.
Not the best of long term investments but it sounds like this is a heart not head decision for you.
I'd love a late low mile e38 for my garage queen, it'll eventually appreciate I'm sure but it's not about that for me. I'd love to still have it and be able to enjoy it in say 20years when they are long forgotten to most.
