BMW and M Power Owners

Surely the question should be "what do I think I would like to pay for that" ?

Sure but Fox has a really good handle on BMW values where I don't really have much of a clue ;)

I'm rubbish at haggling!

It's a Nov 2013 car so I don't really now how much impact that will have on the value of the car even though its only done 14 miles

Well, how much can you get it for new right now? And how much could you buy one 3 years old for, those two numbers would make my mind up.

If you want an arbitrary figure then on a car of that price I'd expect them to have 10%+ to give.

You guys think the E61 M5 will start going up in value soon, or got a couple more years yet? I plan on storing one till I'm old but now I'm saving for a wedding and new house which has thrown a spanner into my finances.

Not in the way you'd hope. It's got a bit of a cult status, but limited to BMW enthusiasts and in no way near something like a CSL or 3.0L CSI/CSL. Very unlike the 911; most classic models are being snapped up and put into collections. Your money would be better placed in Porsche, maybe a 996. It's this generations 964 :p

Many thanks to Vox for setting me up with this drivers side fog light for my E46.

Top bloke, really appreciate your kind gesture (it pays to put pictures of your naff 330Ci on here sometimes :D)

I would expect a low miles pristine e61 M5 to appreciate slowly but steadily, your talking long term though but it's certainly likely.

Low numbers and being something "special" should firmly put it in the appreciating Classic category I'd have thought.

Not the best of long term investments but it sounds like this is a heart not head decision for you.

I'd love a late low mile e38 for my garage queen, it'll eventually appreciate I'm sure but it's not about that for me. I'd love to still have it and be able to enjoy it in say 20years when they are long forgotten to most.

I think the rarity of the e61 especially will push prices up within 5 years tbh, not to a silly degree but more than you may think.

5 years from now such cars will be relics of a by gone age , alas!

You're most welcome, glad it's gone to a good home :)

I have but it's Electric Red, might not quite give the look you're after :p

Autosol? That is in a better state than my original tips were and mine would not autosol to like new but yours look like they should.
