BMW and M Power Owners

Yep, thats where it is on mine too and it randomises the whole of my ipod I've got connected. Also stays set between the car being restarted

Mine resets every time I restart the car, is there any way around this? Random mode is remembered when playing from USB sticks or my save music on HDD.

Would someone with a face lift E46 330Ci tell me exactly where the '330Ci' badge goes please? Just a couple of measurements would be really helpful.

I followed a guide/template online and it's wonky as buggery!

No idea, I only use an iPod in the car and it stayed on, what are you using to deliver the music?

Either use a CD, and burn it to my collection and play from that. Or USB, save to HDD also.

No idea then as it works on mine, all I do know is I'm on a very recent version of the idrive software. I'll try it tonight when I get home and copy some stuff to the internal HDD.

Ugh... found what looks like corrosion under the boot handle on my E92 (in the crease). Off up to the BMW bodyshop today to see if they'll cover it under the 12 year anti corrosion warranty. Not holding out much hope, assume they'll find a way to wriggle out of it.

Looks like I was wrong! I take it all back.

BMW have approved the work, so full replacement boot lid courtesy of BMW. Ideally wouldn't want to have to have any bodywork, but as it does, I'm glad its free.

Does anyone know if it's possible to achieve gapless playback with idrive playing from USB? It doesn't appear to be possible in my F20 1-series (without pro-nav) - maybe its possible on newer idrive versions?

Also there's no way to skip easily through long tracks (e.g a 90 min mix) - is this addressed on newer idrive versions?

Sunny day so I decided to lower the windows. 3 closed fine rear drivers side didn't. Am I right in thinking new regulator time? I can hear the motor whirring and it seems the window has gone off its rails.

While the M135i was in at Stratstone for some warranty work I got a test drive of an i3.

First impressions were...'ok this is wierd'

Acceleration is very linear and very fast but what I really had to adjust to was that as soon as you come off the throttle the car applies it's brakes to start regenerating power...you could almost drive around without pressing the brake pedal.

There was also lots of forward visibility due to the lack of dash which was nice.

It's defiantly a great town car if you can afford to buy one in the first place. Defiantly not a motorway cruiser though as it didnt feel very stable at higher speeds.

I'd really like to test drive one just to experience a decent electric vehicle like this. Sounds pretty cool.

It really is an experience...very silent apart from a slight whirrr of the motors.

They're giving me a 24hr test drive with an i3 tomorrow! Sadly the i8 test drive is an accompanied one, so will do that afterwards.

Quite excited to see what both are like now :p

Window fixed. It had popped off the white runner. I thought it would be a big job but it's been fairly easy. Especially after yesterday trying to raise my rear coilovers lmao.

I quite liked the i8 when I hammered it round MK a few weeks ago. In sports mode and manual shifting I had no issues with the performance or the way it was delivered.

I have my 335i back! :)))))))))

2 brand spanking new turbos and going like a rocket ship! What a glorious motor!

Must post a PIC for my own amusement! :D:cool:
