Very seriously looking into replacing the MX5 with an early Z4 come xmas time, funds dependant.... If I'm looking at the lower end of the price range (say £7k max), am I right in thinking I should let go of my desire for the 3l and consider whatever is in best condition and spec?

Spec other than okayish alloys doesn't really bother me, but in an ideal world I'd like it in dark grey with red leather.... hmm.
 
Hi, anyone had anything to do with the 135i M Sport Coupe ?

Lol, but at least he can take some decent pictures and has put in some effort. Getting 4k for a 134,000 mile 530 Sport with no options other than the Nav just goes to show the power of a good ad! :)

When I was first looking for my E39 the same guy had a 540 for sale with an equally long ad. That one was interesting as it had pretty much every possible option, but I couldn't get past the grey exterior with grey interior combo!
 
Ugly? They look great in the metal! Huge and a nice V8 lump in there.

I couldn't have one my self as it doesnt fit the bill for me. If everything is in order, that is a great deal for someone.

I like the 6 as much as the next guy but those '19" upgraded alloys' look more at home on something like an X5 not a coupe. :o :p

Yeah, I agree on the wheels. They've always looked awful to me. I don't think I've ever seen nice alloys on a 6-Series, apart from the M6.

I rather like these (Style 249), but you'll only find them on the later ones which means they'll almost all be 635d :(
