BMW and M Power Owners

Your deal was incredible - everything about it from the ridiculous tradein value of yours to the price they did the new one for makes no sense, top work there, I'd be properly happy if I was you :D

I figured out why I got a ridiculous trade in value when I went to do the handover. My numpty salesman used an iPad app that gave him an 'on the spot' valuation and the idiot put 11,800 miles instead of 118,000 :D

I bet his boss is happy....I signed a document stating the actual mileage so it can't come back on me.

I noticed when I was signing the documents, one said the actual mileage and the other was the app document.

I pointed it out and rectified it. Too late for them as I had already signed the first document.

Nothing at all from what I've seen that doesn't allow me to use it on track.

I would check the finance documents because mine says the following (albeit this is Audi not BMW but I would have thought they would be fundamentally the same..):

-not use the vehicle or allow it to be used for racing, trials or rallying, or reward.

I assume by 'racing' it would also mean track days but it's worth checking.

Yeah I suppose once you add the warranty into it, it does become less appealing however a warranty is another £1400, so £16.9k is still a good price all in.
If you can point me in the direction of 62 plate AUC 530d's that'll be great :D

This seems to be the norm for £21k:

That will go for 20k, bad mileage to buy at though as once the AUC warranty expires (get it extended to 2 years when buying it) you will be on the expensive warranty.

As said most of the lower mileage ones have sold, two are still up I suspect you can get these for around 22k. You still need to keep the mileage in mind as these are both too close to 60k to warrant buying if you are going to purchase the extended warranty once the AUC one has expired.

Ignore the first picture of this one

one already posted

You really need to be keeping a daily eye on the AUC to get a feel for price and keep track of the higher priced ones that are not selling as you are likely to get more off these. The ones put up keenly priced sell very quickly.

Don't the x35i engines have a habit of blowing up on track?

Seems really odd to go from a modified S2000 to a M135i and then worry about track days.

Aside from the oddity surrounding originally wanting a Range Rover... That at least seems like a bit of a bargain to me after a quick AT scan?!

oh it wasn't me wanting the range rover, I can assure you :D

I thought it was a good buy, had to do a little haggling but sealed it over the phone this morning.

I'm tempted to upgrade my exhaust, but all the decent ones that I like the sound off seem to be in the states and over £1k shipped lol.

Leave it stock and do the butterfly mod thingy if you haven't already. Sounds just right to me

Did that when I got it, completely hammered it out so the flap isn't even in there. I like the tin canny m3 sound of the corsa Exhaust.
