BMW and M Power Owners

Don't understand why that'd be a secret tbh it's not as if it's some sort of super rare car, most 320d's with a similar mileage will cost in the same ball park

Either way I'm afraid it's not for me with the spec, engine and fact it's pre lci (I'd personally have sacrificed the sport looks for some xenons and idrive), but it's not important what I like now is it!

Too much, based on the winky face :D

I did not insinuate it is a rare car. What I spent on my car is my own personal business. I do not have to appease an enquiry as to how much. Yes you are right it is my car, and with all cars is subjective to the owner, individual. You are correct, I really dont care what you like.

A wink signifies it is my own personal business.

Probably £9995 on a 15% APR deal :D

No it is not on any form or type of finance or loan.

A question regarding ECU upgrades. Anyone know of any manufacturers apart from ACShnitzer who do ECU power upgrades for BMW's that retain the warranty?

No actually it is not on finance.

Why is it such a secret? I don't understand

Most people are happy to announce when they've found a bit of a bargain, and it's often when people have paid over the odds that they're keen to withhold such information...

It's also useful for anyone else who might be looking for a similar sort of car to see what someone actually paid vs the multitude of asking prices etc

No matter - whilst we are on the subject of e90/e91's I am finding there are next to no n52 engined cars that apoeal. To the point where if the civic was to sell tomorrow there are literally none I'd even go to see

I think they represent good value, the N52 is a great engine. What are your options if you're after a smooth RWD saloon? unfortunately a lot of the e46 are rusting away and the rust will ultimately will be what sends a lot of them to the scrapper. Is it worth paying the premium for an LCI?

Just need to lose the rock hard tyres and imo they are a great drive

It's the only real bmw option I have though for a 330 as I don't want an N53 and don't particularly like the e60

There are a few of them about, but they just tend to have either questionable history or **** poor spec

A C280 appeals, but again I think they made about 3 estates, they're not cheap and the dash isn't great. Considering a 3.2 A6 but I remember driving one and being decidedly underwhelmed by it plus there are potential chain issues

A b7 A4 isn't really my thing, but I guess I'd think about one at the right price (same issues as the a6), B8 is out of budget.

Don't want diesel, do want something Germanic (reality is I want BMW), ot needs to be an estate and don't want to spend more than £8k - options very limited.

I'm having no luck with my beemer, I've caught the underside of the front spoiler on a kerb, Kerbed 2 alloys due to being blocked in and today the wind blew a wheelie bin into the rear wing and now there's a lovely dent!

Anyone got a ballpark figure for fixing the dent? It's not creased just 2 slight dents at the top of the rear wing near the light cluster its a 15 plate 320D M Sport

Cheers

Dents sound like something one of those suction pullers for dents could well sort out?

Do smart repairers offer this as a service? Would love to know if it works as I've got a minor(slightly unnoticeable) dent on my boot lid that's annoying me. Seen some youtube videos of DIY'ers but wouldn't do it myself.

They would probably prefer to get that out from the back, takes a bit of time but can be made near perfect

I'm sure they can also use a glue in lieu of tacking into the middle of the dent then repairing the paint. Never seen them use just suction cups but last time I seen anyone doing this sort of thing was probably 10-12 years ago

Got this book for £5 on Amazon today, seems quite substantially packed with interesting info, photos and technical data.
