BMW and M Power Owners

Yes, 200kg. At least, if you can read, that's what is written on the BMW website. I have to assume you have no real idea as to how much the batteries, and motor weigh in electric vehicles, otherwise your response would have been. "200kg, is that it?"

Just looked. As suspected its 160kg between M sport 535i and ActiveHybrid for unladed.

200kg would be impressive for the 330e variant delta, which of course is a plugin with a 7.7kWh battery unlike the 1.3kWH in the Active5.

Am I missing something? I could well be being thick.

It seems far too cheap to me. Its cheaper even than the Mini

I found out why I got it so cheap, there's like a 60ish% discount code that can save you a fortune over the year but then the mods suspended me for a month and I forgot what it was so I can't tell you all.

OH WELL, good job mods, suspending elite crew members.

A 60% discount code?! Surely you must have realised you'd used a code before

The standard renewal price is about 10% off, using the PIN you get with your letter.

No it had been applied without me knowing, it was only after when I phoned to confirm I wanted it was I told what it was when I said it was cheaper than what I had been quoted else where, apparently its even more than the friends and family discount the call centre staff get!

So a secret 60% off discount code was applied without you knowing? Who applied it?!

This seems very bizarre, if it wasn't for the screenshot you posted I'd call BS, but it's fairly clear the prices were real!

It was just on my account, it was on there from the year before but I didn't pay for it, the car came with it because it was used approved from a main dealer. My first and pretty much only theory was that its a code used by dealers and someone forgot to take it off my account, and now I know what the code is.

Care to share?!

Too salty after getting suspended and i'm sure if it gets out it'll be removed so I am not posting it publicly. I hopped onto the elite crew IRC for the first time in years to share to the old lot because its saved me over £500 but it was dead and I only have a few mobile numbers.

Does anyone know if BMW has ever released a roof rack or cycle carrier system for the E63 or F13 6 Series? I think I know what the answer is but want to be 100% sure. Now that my dream of an F11 is dead, I would consider a >2009 E63 despite it's impracticality compared to an estate, but I can't own a car that won't transport my bike.

The 2010 E63s are enormously expensive when you consider its an E60 coupe. The smart money E63 wise is surely in the 7-8k V8 ones not the overpriced late model ones.

I've pretty much heard the same things over and over.

It does feel seriously dangerous to drive sometimes. So much so I'd not want someone driving it without me explaining to them how twitchy it is.

It's a shame because when it's behaving it's such a pleasure to throw around.

Little update on this. I've ordered a refurbished rack which will hopefully sort it, otherwise I am out of ideas! I will keep you posted :)

True, I was really just considering it for the newer sports auto and CIC (which you can retrofit so that's a moot point I guess for the money you'd save buying an older model).

Cheers Lee.

How's yours been in the colder weather? I swear mine is improved slightly, not so jittery and twitchy.

Still nowhere near it needs to be though :o

Smart money in the E63/64 market is the early 650i Sport in my opinion, with a CIC retrofit.

They are around £9-15k depending on mileage and spec. The 650i received the modern style slot in key and full keyless etc, so it feels like a fairly modern car despite being from 2006. They are actually reasonably quick too, with a remap they are nearly 400hp which isnt too bad.
