BMW and M Power Owners

Coileeeez.

Been owned by a brapster that. The convertible has lower suspension than the coupe by default and each E46 M3 has individual spring rates based on the spec it left the factory at. Changing these to aftermarket just messes up the geo surely.

Clearly a scam. It's worth around 2.5-3x that.

Only 2 feedback too with one of these feedbacks from the purchase of a 99p keyring.

No. They are colour coded based on SMG/manual and sat nav/no sat nav.

Swapping them round will not mess up the geometry because there's hardly any difference in the spring rates.

Anyone renewed insurance recently? Not sure what has happened in the last 6 months but my quotes have sky-rocketed.
Yep, I renewed last week. They wanted to add 75% to last years quote - after I laughed down the phone to them she went off to speak to her manager and they offered to price match last years quote. Completely bizarre, no one else came close price wise so obviously stuck with them.
There must be a reason they chance it by doing this, some suckers must pay the increase in order for it to be worthwhile peeing off customers.

Do BMW AUC cars come with VED as part of their purchase price?

I sorted out insurance today and sent the salesman the cover letter, so he is able to pay the VED on the car.

I figured with the new rules that I'd be the one to front this cost, will I be waiting for a bill on the day of collection?

Also, at what point should I begin getting a refund for my VED on my current car, I've only recently paid for a year. As soon as I drop it off and leave it with Mr. BMW?

Annoyingly, I've paid for a year of AA too in the last month for both me and my partner, and the new BMW comes with a years roadside assistance with home start. I'm guessing I can cancel myself from the AA membership?

might be worth inspecting front discs, big bill if they need done [>£700] they were trying to advise me to change mine at 3 years [MOT] due to some minor rust on in inside face

nice spec btw, miss mine a lot :(

Thanks, I've checked the MoT history and they're sorting the advisories, discs weren't one of them so I'm hoping they've either been done or won't need doing for awhile. Appreciate the heads up!

For instance: MY2013 530D MSport Auto

October 2015 quote: £480 with 9 years protected no claims
(I didn't end up getting this, as my current insurer just modified my existing policy to account for the change of vehicle for a nominal fee.)

Renewal Quote: £864 with 10 years protected no claims!?

So I thought it was just the insurer trying it on, I've since tried a lot of the comparison sites and the cheapest I've seen is about £650

What on earth has happened? I've not moved, I've not changed jobs, I've not had any accidents, Literally everything is the same other than extra year no claims and 6 months on from purchasing the vehicle.

I must be lucky, mine's dropped from just over £300 to £272, 29yr old, full NCB, 630i convertible, with tesco :)

Did a coast to coast run in the M3 to sunny Blackpool for the weekend. Brimmed the tank just before I left with Tesco's finest 99 (as always) and cruised at 65-70 (or 50 with road works). Cruise control on almost the whole journey, average speed across the entire journey was 51. Gobsmacked with how good its been on fuel.
It always over reads a bit but I keep a spreadsheet of what goes in and how many miles it gets me but I suspect the 37.5 reading should mean at least 34-35 in reality.
I usually get 25ish doing my A road commute and some weekend outings, but of course it can get surprisingly low in spirited circumstances.
What are other people getting in the real world?
