Honestly starting to think certain approved dealers don't want to sell cars.
 
Someone only put a few thousand miles on it for over a decade. Someone obviously thought it was.

I'm finding the same with Audi dealerships. Stafford Audi didn't get back to me after I went in and talked some figures over used cars. Twice I've sent enquiries to Stockport Audi over a used car online and they haven't contacted me at all.

I got into the early stages of a new car order with Stoke Audi until they started ignoring me.

Coventry Audi have been good but I've got a better deal now through Orangewheels (others were carwow) so not sure yet which dealership I'll be dealing with...

I know they're very busy but all I want to do is buy a car..

The only AUC dealerships I can offer any praise to at the minute are Stratstone and Williams. Unfortunately the cars I've looked at with them had damage that I can't ignore or were sold.

Cooper were an embarrassment yesterday. Left a message with their receptionist for someone to call me - they did (twice to be fair) but failed to leave a message. I called back and asked to speak to whoever called me. They couldn't find a record of anyone calling me. They then said they would get someone from sales to call me back, or the receptionist would call me back to book at chat. Still waiting...

Lloyd promised to look in to replacing some damaged interior trim and still haven't got back to me.

Most minor dealerships however I can't fault. Called back every time they said they would, the only issue being every damn time the car has already sold :p
 
Shredded driver door side seat bolsters seems to be top of the list with the 6's followed by the centre arm rest front right corner. The drivers and tunnel trim being scratched/scuffed badly is the next one. I wish I'd taken photos of the car at Lloyd Newcastle (it's just this minute disappeared from AT and their website so it must be sold!) as it was shocking. It really did look like someone had gone at it with a pick.

Also display and dash screen being scratched is another.

I'd feel ashamed if I ever let my car get in the condition of some of these. I'd expect mrk to come give me a kicking!
 
The problem with the centre console trim pieces is that unless you are very careful when cleaning them the high gloss finish scratches very badly.

Nobody at a car dealer is ever careful when cleaning anything :(
 
I've actually started broadening my search to include 6GC's. I'm finding they have much better specs - as in they actually include some options!

Got my feels out for one at the minute however a bit unsure as the seller isn't an auto dealer (he states he's an accountant...) so it would mean either selling mine privately (not sure how long that's going to take tbh) or trading it in to somewhere like Evans Halshaw.
 
Although not quite as nice as 6 one of the reasons i opted to stick with an F10 is that you get a much newer one for the money and with that a greater chance of one that some halfwit hasn't trashed.

I just don't get what people do with these cars - my last F10 was 6.5 years old and the paintwork and interior was completely unmarked.
 
Completely agree, it mystifies me.

Yeah, I have a few stonechips on the front but - as Stratstone just commented when looking at mine - the interior doesn't look like anyone has ever sat in it. There is literally not a mark.

Not even a seat dent :p
