When I bought my Alfa the envelope holding all of the history had 'THE BEAST' written on it. That name has not stuck

Lovely colour. Since the 66 Plate I've encountered lots more 335d. I still cannot understand BMWs decision to make them even more non-descript by doing away with the single exit exhaust on each side to make the 35 subtlety stand from the rest of the range. Especially given how successful Audi have been with their S5 marketing strategy.

The 35i and 40i (3 and 4 series) have one pipe each side. The diesels are all twin pipes on the left side.

The 535d however has one pipe on each side.

Best bet is to do it yourself - it isn't difficult and the cable isn't expensive

It's slightly over 250 but the 4wd, launch control and 8 speed auto all make it particularly good at 0-60.

Well looks like I'm going to be buying this 530d, went for a second drive today and absolutely love it. Waiting for a confirmation on some figures tomorrow but other than an epic fail from them now, looks to be a set deal. Cannot get over how little of the car you can hear in the cabin, and when you do put your foot down, how it actually sounds quite nice?!

The big screen for the pro nav is beautiful, the colours and res is lovely. Still blown away by the quality of the F10 interior
