BMW and M Power Owners

So what does everyone think? black or chrome for grills?

Have a 330Ci and one of my grills is cracked and coming loose so need to replace it, the standard chrome are pricer than black but I'm a bit neutral on it.

Car is silver so black adds contrast but chrome adds that extra shine.

Black with those clip on /// red & blue covers for full ///m power. Change all the roundels for knock off carbon fibre efforts whilst you're at it.

and some fake side grills and M3 badges? :D
no not going to happen, there's a black 3 series convertible like that at work and i laugh every time i see it.

the 330 is nice enough to hold its own, I don't have to pretend it's an M3

Argh, driving under a motorway and had a lump of mortar fall on to the car, thought it had hit the roof but hit the boot lip. Hasn't dented it but has taken a chunk out of the paint right the way down to bare metal. Only about 2mm wide but everytime i look at the back of the car my eyes focus straight on it.

Nooooooo!

Never ask if anything on your car should be black on here. You will be chased out by the pitchfork brigade.

Managed to give the car a wash this weekend at my folks, after neglecting it for about two months.

Still undecided on whether or not I'm going to keep it much longer, the car is stupidly fast and has an epic gearbox and engine combination but the rest of the package leaves me feeling cold.

X6 sold today, a good 2.5yrs with it and it's been faultless, absolutely great for long journeys and has been around Europe a bit.

Still hunting for the right 6GC or F15 X5 now.

Someone persuade me NOT to buy a 530i with 189k on the clock.

It isnt particularly old and has lots of cool toys as well. But it has the N53 engine....

(my current motor has 210k miles so I am aware of all the issues surrounding high mileage cars and they dont bother me massively).

Its not expensive particularly either.

Quick!

edit: full bmw service history, pirelli tyres on all round and motorway miles.

Surely it is quite old unless it's an F10?

How many previous owners?

Is this the green e60?

2 previous owners. Sorry its an E61.

Its pretty much one of very last batch of E61s as far as i can tell - has the new CIC nav at least.

So yeah its kinda old, but not old old!

No its not the green one.
