BNP Advert... WOW... just WOW.... Really?

Indeed. :D

It somewhat implies that perhaps their intentions are not as honourable as they state, it's akin to when they justify racism against Islamic people on the grounds of how they treat women (like they are actually misunderstood feminists.... :p, not just racists)...
Shhh don't use the F word we'll have HerpDerp posting, tipping his fedora for thy lady's honour.

It's unusual that a brit wouldn't be the best candidate. But entirely possible what particular job role do you have in mind?

Why would someone from a foreign country not be the best candidate? Why would that be unusual?

Based on some of the British people I grew up with, I don't see how any of them could be even considered as a candidate for any job. Unless loitering on street corners, throwing stuff at people's houses and having a low standard of women is a pre-requisite for a job?

Oh and ironically most of them are thick BNP/EDL supporters, possibly because they read and believe whatever the Sun/Daily Mail says.

Unskilled minimum wage jobs

Your British candidates tend to be the bottom dregs of the employment pool.

Foreign options tend to be those who have the wherewithal to travel hundreds of miles to try to set themselves up for a better life, despite the language, cultural and financial challenges such a move would entail. i.e. they aren't the dregs.

It's not hard to see why the foreign candidates tend to get those jobs.

Or the many skilled jobs where we don't have enough British candidates with sufficient skill?

University students work low skilled jobs to get them through. I think you should redact your statement.

British students aren't the bulk of applicants for minimum wage jobs, and certainly aren't significant in number for full time minimum wage positions, are they.

You can argue semantics, but the evidence shows that employers, often enough, feel that foreign workers are the better candidate for jobs, among the applications they receive. To the extent that The Running Man claiming that "It's unusual that a brit wouldn't be the best candidate." is demonstrably wrong.

So you're saying it's only University Students who are going for ultra low pay work? You have a very high view of unemployed British people.

Most of the people I know who graduated from Uni but couldn't get a job in their desired field went into some form of catering/bar work. They didn't look to the very bottom of cleaning/manual labor work. But maybe they were just 'lucky'

Did I say only? I don't think I did. :)

Catering and bar work is unskilled work, so I think we are on the same page. Why couldn't they get a job in their field?

Due to our standards of education, local familiarisation, English being a first language etc? I'm not saying that every Briton is AAA material but that there would be relatively few (unspecialised) jobs where a foreign born worker would be tangibly better. Unless you can show differently?

Of course if you are talking about jobs with a temporary nature where you can get away with paying 6 to a room immigrants peanuts due to an inequality of cost of living then perhaps it can be more cost effective to hire an immigrant.

Point taken. I would say catering/bar work is a step up from some of the unskilled work (i.e. cleaning - specifically toilets).

They couldn't get jobs because they did courses like photography etc, or specialized in certain sciences where the jobs require experience, and where the experience can only come from volunteering, which doesn't pay.

Oh sure, for me I would hire the best person for the job some autistics are amazing programmers for example. However, I think especially in unskilled work the best candidate is someone who is happy to plod along help the company grow and/or provide the best service and I don't believe at these jobs are suited for academics who have high hopes on the horizon.

What have academics got to do with it?

Is all the anti-foreigner sentiment because we're upset at foreigners stealing students' cleaning jobs? Why aren't students voting for the BNP?

BNP claims foreigners are coming over here and refusing to learn English.

School teaches English to kids of foreigners.

BNP complains that foreigners are being taught to speak English.

I think they may well be talking about the cost teaching them to the tax payer?.
I.E I had to have some point injections and 3 of the patients there with me had to have a translator each.
And translator's don't come cheap.
