Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

Yup copy/paste is the only way! Sometimes you'll have to alt tab back into the game then click once with the mouse button into the first box, but very rare.

Not to mention 99% of AR's have stupidly small clip sizes! Very rare to find a non bandit type with a clip bigger than 30 I find :(

I had an old S&S gun in BL1 with Roland that started with something like 160 rounds + skills made it about 230 - insane! :D

the AR in the 1st game are miles better, it used to be 400 x 3 fire x 120 rounds with sights.

this level 61 isn't as good as 50, but i might not have the best guns so far, because my old 20 000 Maliwan fire sniper was far more deadly than this 67 000 version.

in this 3rd playthrough i dont have Sledge's and Conference Call, so i'm well down on firepower anyway, this level 61 is more about speed and mobility/ fast SL*G weapon swapping, in comparison; level 50 was far slower/ easier to play.

it aint worth farming Warrior for CC or Maliwan Volcano, because he only drops this gear the once, after this you're screw**.

Anyone else find it annoying that you cant copy and paste the key in, I know its small but its annoying to me.

You're doing it wrong :p

Usually works. Sometimes it decides its not of the right format to paste it and will pop up and tell you its broken. It doesn't just not do anything.

there is another way !!! just search Google for Goden Key and see what you find ;););)

Yes because those virus' worked out so well for you...

Is that the best gun in the game or something?

Also what does farming the treasure room mean, just doing the boss over and over? I did that one last night, the big walrus thing with the snake tongue?

It's one of the best apparently, haven't used it against anything yet. It's very good with The Bee shield because the amp damage isn't really affected by the nerf because the gun fires more bullets than it states on the card. For example the regular Unkempt Harold fires 7 bullets per shot all of which get the full amp damage from the Bee shield because it only states the "8478" instead of "8478x7" for example. The double penetrating prefix is supposed to be the best version of the gun.

As for the treasure room, yeah it's that one. It's not simply killing the Leviathan over and over though as he doesn't respawn so you have to use an exploit where they haven't actually cleaned up its hit box. Just search YouTube for "Farming the treasure room" and you should find it easily enough :).

Ugh!

Fed up of always getting my ass handed to me in Hero's Pass I decided to run Zero through Captain Scarlett & Tiny Tina DLC before heading in. Despite being listed as level 30 (to my 34!) and coming up as normal I'm still struggling!

While I'm at it - anyone any idea why sometimes your FFYL timer depletes in seconds? I've no artifacts or weapons effecting that stat which makes it even more confusing! :)

you cant use Bee in the 3rd playthrough 50-61, well at least i couldn't !

i cant kill T.Rex in Torgue, but at level 50 he died easily

i'm either killing myself with the launcher as it hits the concrete barrier by mistake, or being killed by him as i move in too close to the barrier, i can hit him easily from within cover, but it takes too long/ expensive to wear down his health this way, but i deffo cant enter the arena, Zero is way too weak for this.

using the SMGs means that i have to get in too close to the concrete barrier, only the Sniper rifle/ pistol allows me to fire from further back.... it's very hard, you just can not stand within 8ft of the barrier/ gate

the timer depletes instantly about every 4 times you die, so it's mega annoying.

but increasing your 2nd wind timer by 122% is no good, because using this means that you have to reduce your gun power, which is already too weak !!!

i always use 28% sniper damage, plus 40% crit hit.... or 30% shotgun etc whatever gun i use.

but a really good one is 40% fire damage, because this wears them down very quickly after you've hit them, this is probably better with the Maliwan fire sniper; than the 28% sniper damage....hard to tell, but i used it months ago and it made them erupt in flames, just like it used to in the 1st game ;)

i wish BL2 didn't have this constant need to switch elemental weapons all the time

Anyone recommend an Axton skill tree for UVHM?

I'm still doing TVHM and I've switched from a turrent based build to gun/nade damage and generally resilience. I think I prefer it this way actually. My turrent is only useful for drawing a bit of aggro but at least I can take things down myself now.

Is the turret DPS sufficient enough in UVHM when fully upgraded, so that I should go back to using it? Or should I stick with the more 'solo' build I have now?

I love my turret, twin barrels, sl@g, rocket pods and longbow. I might add nuke setup or shields to it too eventually, can't decide which. Sl@g is really helpful on higher difficulty, means I don't have to switch weapons so much.
I have 9 points in sentry, having the legendary soldier mod, which helps the damage output.

She's awesome Xx

Did you even try to understand the FFYL mechanic?

Not entirely sure of the numbers but every time you die in quick succession, the timer gets less and less. Not looked into how the game decides to go back up to full duration, whether its just time or time out of combat or kills or something, but thats how it goes. Gets to the point where the timer depletes in less than a second. If you make a second wind then it resets to full duration. Not impossible if you're stood face to face with a heavily damaged enemy or if DoT effects kill a target just after you went down (or if you're Krieg, you're stood near someone on low hp with Light the Fuse).

And 122% longer timer is definitely more beneficial than a 20-40% boost to damage because you can inflict 122% more damage, not 20-40%. Course thats only good if you're spending most of your time down since it won't help you when you're not.

Yes why bother having to actually counter enemies with the appropriate elemental damage type...

The only 1 I hate is Shock that serves seemingly no purpose once a shield is taken down against pretty much everything because nothing seems to be weak to it and enemies always have much larger health bars than they do shields, unlike the Guardians in the last game.

If you're struggling that much even with a big level advantage either your guns are terrible or your style of play just isn't suitable with a) your gear, b) your skill choice or c) the enemies you're facing.

@sundance - Rocket pods and sl@g turret deal a lot of damage even in UVHM. I've never actually tried his other lines but I can't see how 2 turrets with basically no special mods is any good, nor am I expecting the Nuke to actually do much damage so really there is only one choice imo.

You need to do some bar fights to get enough tokens for a DP Harold to kill B Rex in the arena.

yea but that'll take loads of bar fights.... not just some !!!

Saturn went down easily yesterday due to a Torgue Rocket launcher, it hammers TREX too, but with him you have to be careful that you dont strike the barrier in front of you and thus kill yourself, this is very easy to do, i killed myself 8 times.

when i next fight TREX i will shoot through the tiny gap with the sniper rifle/ pistol..... the AR/ SMG are Krap for this, but to do this i will need that Harold pistol or something similar.......i cant kill the Sheriff in Lynchwood until i do all the side missions there, but before any of this i must finish ``captain scarlet``
