If you're an AMD user dont run physx on high. I've only heard bad things. It's pretty obvious really considering it's a nvidia thing anyway.

any half decent system should be able to **** this game....

It has the same specs as Borderlands 1, based around a solid 512 VRAM rig. Your rig should pound it into oblivion with three figure fps.

580 1.5gb sli
im running and got between 65 and 200+fps on the 1st level.

but was smooth as butter at all times, i also run 120hz monitors.

on latest whql drivers...

38 fps when there was just bodies on the ground no action at all.

lots of robots scattered on the ground.

cpu related i take considering any fps drop is accompanied by gpu usage drop....

try changing the fps option no smoothing try unlimited option

It could be a BIOS issue, is your mobo up to date? Same with GPU drivers, or maybe BL2 doesn't fully support i7 tech yet and will improve with a patch.

38 FPS is fine though, but I certainly hope the issue gets sorted. I had disgusting performance in Skyrim before switching my BIOS to the latest and updating to beta 6xxx drivers.
