Borderlands 3

BCan you believe I found a Pestilent Defiler at level 22 and kept using it until I found a new version at level 65. There was no other weapon (for me as a Gunslinger Mordecai) that even came close.

Was that the one that instantly turned almost anyone almost instantly into green slime??

There is so many guns in bl1, that i never know what to keep or leave/drop/sale.

I know right. I've thrown everything away apart from all the legendaries and they're stored in Moxxi's Underdome safe. You can't even swap between characters in this game though so they'll probably just sit there gathering dust. Still yet to find an elusive pearlescent one though.

Oh i see, its part of a dlc, i do have the GOTY version, but i was going to complete the game before doing the dlc, maybe i should start that dlc, also, if you find a legendary weapon, does it say legendary on the weapon card ? or is it just a special colour ? thx

You can visit the Underdome via Fast Travel at any time to store your items, it doesn't trigger any quests there until you want to.
Legendary guns are all orange coloured names and red text in the description box.

Ok, thx for the info.

No problemo!

To be honest i started my borderlands 2 adventure on Xbox 360 so i think i just learned to see through any performance blips. I have not played much on pc other than to oogle at it.

i have a 1080ti now running a bit over spec so am thinking i can sledge hammer it into performing well :)

I thought it was an awful gimmick that borked performance. BL2 still looks good with the HD pack.

To each their own i suppose... but given the amount (some) people pay to get that extra bit of lighting or draw distance or what ever on ultra detail in a game, or the tiny increase in clarity going from QHD to UHD, compared to those things I always thought physx had the potential to give a far far bigger improvement to eye candy.
Especially The batman games but still to an albeit lesser extend BL2 I thought it was great.

Put it this way... anyone here who had an nvidia card with the grunt to run it without crushing the frame rate , would any of you disable it?

No way. I’d been playing BL2 on PS4 and then seeing PhysX on YouTube made me want to buy a PC and play it on there. The effects such as Maya’s Phaselock look incredible with all the particles swirling about.
