**Borderlands Pre Sequel** SHIFT keys in first post!

Lmao, the shift key system is a bit broken. If you exit an online game then go back in, the shift keys are all reset in the shift machine. I started out with 30 keys and now have 69.

Meh, Driving is just to get from point A to point B for me. Also, rockets. Fire and forget. And when I did combat vehicles, I always did the drive backwards thing. So yeah, whatever!

Awful lot of blues dropping. Don't forget to keep your crap blues for the grinder (around level 10?). Fill up on backpack upgrades.

There are also chests that need moonstones to open (a lot actually, 40 IIRC).

And finally, at last the machines are not filled with junk. Money has a use.

Yes, it's now moonstone and it's everywhere.
However, you can also use moonstone in the Grinder. The Grinder allows you to create new weapons by placing 3 of the same type in it and use moonstones to create a higher quality weapon.
You can create a new weapon of standard quality without moonstone, but I don't see the point in that.
 
I'm a bit confused by the grinder. I got a nice purple out of it, but then the next time I tried to use it no combination of weapons would work. Can you grind purples to get an orange? And is there any logic to what goes in and what comes out?

Enjoying playing as claptrap. The comedy value makes it worthwhile and the special is actually really powerful most of the time (sometimes it totally doesn't do what you were hoping though).
 
Got another couple of hours into this yesterday and it's shaping up to be ok so far, some genuine lol moments to it as well.

Nice to see legendaries turning up in vending machines too although I can't afford any. Found some purple weapons too in some of the hidden loot chests in various maps.

Hoping for a couple of updates to improve performance soon.

Had one slow down in my 4 hours so far when lots of stuff was blowing up at the same time, but gsync handled that nicely. It runs really really nicely, certainly better then borderlands 2.

Love the game but it took a little getting in to, I would wager it was conceived as a dlc pack for 2 then realised it would be too big and made it a full title.

Duration is what you want to make of it, I could do main story + raid on 2 in under 20 hours.

Those finding it hard, co-op with someone.

Edit: another little egg...in moxxis bar, go to the dj booth, you'll find dj boom from boom bewm, first boss on 2 ;)

It's really good, both for general weak mobs and for the bigger, boss-type guys. The speed at which she switches targets is insane! It's fast enough that she can hit (and kill) three different guys in one burst of a Dahl SR, and with the RoF and reload, you really can just go to town. I can only imagine how devestating it will be once I've spec'd into the hipfire bonus skill, Magnificent Six and the dual-wield one. Not one, but two damage boosted aimbot critical damage revolvers? Sign me up!

And the other DJ is Rang (Boom & Rang), plus it is a mini-homage to Daft Punk :D

Level 7 with Athena, enjoying it so far, but I agree the Oz accents grate a bit. Just wish I could scope with Alpis out, I'm a sniper-gun lover.

Oh, and performance has been perfect for me v-synced at 1440p.
 
Pickle is a ****. The most annoying character in any game, makes me want to rip my ears off!
Worth doing his side quests though as the shotgun you get is very good and hilarious.. It swears everytime you fire and when you put it away lol.
 
I agree with you guys Pink..Pickle is a female lady part and easily the most annoying character out of any game I've played.
I honestly couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl.
