**Borderlands Pre Sequel** SHIFT keys in first post!

Getting utterly DESTROYED by Ascended Zarpedon on TVHM :(

Barely got past the powersuit phase and now she's just running over me. I'm level 45, she's 47 and my guns are in the 41 - 43 range.

Can't stay alive long enough to do damage, can't get out of FFYL because Jack aggros the mobs AWAY from me meaning I'm lucky to get more than a couple of shots on target before I need to reload :/

Really not enjoying this now :(

I felt the same with RedBelly last night in TVHM. I was (I think) 35, and he was 37. He would charge me and I'd be down almost straight away. And then he'd stand on top of me so I couldn't get LoS to any other mobs to get out of FFYL.

Took me quite some time (and a massive stack of cash) to get past him. I'm thinking that for the next boss fight I'll grind out a few levels to at least be the same as the boss, and preferably one or two over.

Without doing side missions though, it's tough to get XP in any sensible timescales.

Red Belly is really easy to exploit. Stay in the doorway near the vending machines, blast him down to half health so Red jumps off, then hoof it back to the vending machines, Belly will try to follow, but can't enter that area, so you can just cheese him from around the corner.

I leveled from 30-33 that way.

You can cheese it by standing on one of the elevated ledges on the right of the elevator. There, you can dodge her AOE, and also take cover from the more standard attacks. You can also try to force her to focus on Jack, that gives you a bit of time, and also setting up the exploding containers, but that's high risk.

And if you think it's stupid and unfair, that's the Borderlands way. Every boss in every game have been designed like that. It's like they don't know how to design proper boss fights. DeadLift was OK. You could dodge him, and move around. I had higher hopes, but they quickly fell back to their usual annoying tropes.

Seems there are 3 new achievements added . I have managed to get one of them while looking for undiscovered locations...

You can stand on the raised bit at the top of the lift, to the right or left, that way the novas can't get you. I was level 41 with 38 guns, a bit cheesy but other than that just put another level on and get better guns.

Good tip will try that.

Doing Deadlift to get the Jack 'o' cannon was a breeze, I came at him via the exit you use the first time you beat him and you come up right behind him. Couple of decent shotgun blasts before he leaps away then a couple of sniper shots and he's is history. The cannon is pretty rubbish though.

On the station shutting down the laser...but can't be bothered to log back in and carry on playing :( Just not appealing to me this time round like the previous games and I don't know why :(

Finding all the locations for the Cosmic completionist was a ball ache. I don't know why they can't show a list of areas you have discovered, so you know which you're missing. They have also changed it so that the whole map can be revealed, even though you haven't discovered all the locations.

Managed it in the end, but it took a good few hours of running about on every map.
