**Borderlands Pre Sequel** SHIFT keys in first post!

Currently got 607 hours clocked on BL2 which initially* I paid 35 for (inc. season pass) which works out at......6p per hour! Tremendous value! :D

*I accidentally redeemed a copy of the GOTY edition for £8.74 thinking it would add to my inventory. Oops. Factoring that mistake in and the cost of KRIEG (£2.xx iirc!) brings me to.....8p once rounded up!
 
I just received this for free from NVIDIA and I have no idea what Borderlands is. It looks a bit like a standard shooter from the Let's Plays. Is it co-op like Serious Sam or Left 4 Dead, or co-op like Mass Effect 3, or what?
 
Still working my way through BL2 TVHM on my first character. Level 43 or something :P Loving it but it's getting more and more difficult.

like this. imagine an arpg loot hunting game like the diablo series, torchlight, titan quest etc merged with an fps that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Just bought this off GMG as well. When will we be able to unlock this with a VPN?

I use private internet access 24/7 so I just connected to a US server with that, If you want a free one I used vpn gate when buying BF4 from Mexico. I have never heard of anyone getting banned because they played the game early, from what I understand they do not like it if you buy a game from a country where games are dirt cheap or buying one off a keysite then using a VPN to activate it on Steam.

I asked some friends if they wanted my copy but they've said no, so I guess I'll just activate the key on my Steam account.

My Steam name is i_bent_my_wookiee and I am a complete noob to Borderlands, so you're warned. I'll go through the thread tomorrow and add people too once the pre-load is done.

The best advice I can give you is have patience. You will die a lot and it can get very very frustrating but it is also very rewarding especially when you get some great loot from a big boss that took you 3 hours to kill :)
