Borderlands

depends who's hosting, if the lvl 23 and you're doing those level quest you're going to die.

if the lvl 11 hosts it will be too easy.

the lvl 15 still probably to easy

Finally started this last night with my 3 mates and after we'd sorted out the mouse smoothing, voice chat etc it was great - had some issues where it was saying to one or two of my friends that they were "Ineligible" for the current mission even though we were all at the same part!

They went back to single player and rejoined and it just seemed to work then. :)

We're level 10, I'm Roland. :D

But the problem seems to be, the moment the levels of characters start getting diverse, you're screwed? ie: If one or two of yuor mates play a little bit more than you do, and get a good few levels ahead?

That's why you make them sign a contract, 2 of my mates are off work today but they aren't allowed to play Borderlands until me and 4th mate finish work.

It was only y'day have played with someone the same lvl as me. I found my self power leveling playing with chars at a higher lvl than me. I'm now just short of lvl 24 (played for about 8-10 hours). But have to admit it is more fun to play with people at the same stage as yourself

Well completed the game last night.

The last about 50% of the game in SP was very meh, not only did I breeze through one shotting everything with my 300x3 explosive sniper rifle and 200x7 revolver, but the ending was a great big pile of lame.

*spoiler*

I mean come on, you play through all of that crap to open the vault and obtain all the treasures you are promised only to find you have basicaly been punked by a freakin' satalite?

What's people experiences when playing co-op with differing levels? ie: If say 4 people played with skills 11, 15, 19, 23? Would it be a mess?

We had a level 4 start playing with us when we were level 25, he died in one shot, but I think he was enjoying it non the less, sniping for 0 damage at the back. :)

I finished play-through one and ended up being level 36.

Not sure I can stomach a second play-through though.

It is a quick way to level up for the lower levels. As long as everyone else dont mind having tougher enemies, but essentially only being a 3 man team. I dont personally, I like the challenge :)

But let's say one of your mates is away for 2-3 weeks. So the rest of you don't play, or if you do, then you're 2-3 levels above him when he returns.

I guess he's have to solo play his MP character up a bit to catch up?
