Both RX Vega 64 & 56 Beat GTX 1080 Ti in Forza 7 DX12 benchmarks

Great thing is you free to disable all settings like Game assist for higher reward points :p Isn't it great we disagree with each other :) Lets agree to disagree on the Graphics of each game! I like Forza 7 better, Some people let Mario better than Sonic isn't it great we all like gaming :D
LOL don't do that then he can't carp on a game where AMD are doing well!

Well that's to be confirmed ;)

My point which shankly conveniently ignored was that the mirror reflections on the road in forza looked odd, fake actually given the overcast light. Try it next time your driving in the rain and it's overcast which is pretty much all the time presently. I doubt you'll see your the underside of the car in front in perfect clarity reflected in the road.

Rain on road will only have reflections in the right light. The forza clip looks odd because the road is like glass, the lighting is wrong to give such glass like reflections. Reminds me of the rainbow road in super mario kart. Don't like the rewind button either.

Yes in PCARS2 the rain builds up. After a while you get surface water on the track and that is reflective. It just takes some time to happen from when the rain 1st starts.

Did you uninstall any Windows Xbox apps? If so, restore them, you'll need them to sign in to play. I had a similar issue whereby i couldn't get past the intro screen as it was trying to sign me to an app that was removed.

Bah, I tried the xbox and store re-installs no joy. Got me thinking about the xbox app though and I manually opened all the ports it should require (should be done by upnp but we know how that goes sometimes!) and still no luck.

Think I will just have to get a refund. PCARS2 is more than enough to keep me busy. I just fancied something more lighthearted where I can kick back with the PS controller and have a blast.

I guess it was not to be!

The pcars vid there is just mushy, some of that is youtube video quality must be. Ive seen roads reflecting like that not british ones because they are trashed, it depends on the quality of the surface before its rained, angle of the light etc. On a perfect surface perhaps but its too consistent yep

Very misleading thread title.

OP Rollac should change title like "GTX 1080 Ti Beat Both RX Vega 64 & 56 in Forza 7 DX12 benchmarks" that will be more appropriate title.

Computerbase updated Forza 7 DX12 benchmarks tested new GeForce 387.92 driver reran benchmarks on GTX 1080 and 1060. More tests on all Nvidia cards will follow.

Why is the 1080 beating the 1080ti?

I know this will end in fail for Vega but I can't help but think we still aren't seeing accurate results.

Yeah its scores are not up on the newer driver yet.

Forza 7 looking good for AMD & Vega 64, thanks to instruction prefetching.:)

It's obvious that under new drivers the 1080Ti will probably be ahead given the 1080 results. That said, Athlon's post makes little sense.

Either way, it's not a bad showing for Vega. But they definitely dampen the AMD circle jerk.
