I'm going to stick to the facts here: You don't know what you're talking about.

The Law used to recognise Gender Dysphoria as Gender Identity Disorder.

Just because it no longer does, doesn't mean it is any less a "Disorder".

Gender Dysphoria is recognised synonymously with Body Identity Integrity Disorder.

I won't state an opinion on the subject, but from the views of an immediate family member who suffered from this exact thing and in direct response to your post..

Most shocking thing on that article is that kids as young as 3 years old are having gender identity treatment. What the **** is that about.

Exactly. I simply refuse to believe that any male baby cannot be brought up to be a man, unless anyone can prove otherwise. It's all in the head, and stupid parents just don't realise that children start absorbing ideas from extremely young ages. I really don't think it's difficult to raise a boy to be a man, unless you take your kid to a ridiculous "gender clinic" (lmao) when they start feeling irrational jealousy of sister's and mom's new shoes.

And then the real sad thing is the "Doctor" at the gender clinic has a chance to hook a patient and guarantee his career for the next 15 years. So he will reinforce the irrationality of the kid and tell everybody that it's OK if little timmy wants to wear girls shoes, instead of being truthful and explaining child psychology and that the boy doesn't ACTUALLY want to wear GIRLS shoes. Then he will start advertising penis-vagina conversion operations and how wonderful they are. And then when timmy is a 26 year old tranny called sally, he/she will someday realise that he/she was lied to and abused because society wanted to capitalise on his natural infantile irrational behaviour.

Where things get difficult for you is when a person is adamant they are not a man/woman, have gender reassignment, and then later regret it.

Unless we make the jump to saying that gender is a choice, or that it's fluid and can change from one moment to the next.

That isn't really difficult for me, though. It just shows that these things require significant consideration before people go through major surgery.

Exactly. I can raise a child to hate the colour green. I can raise a child to hate stockings. I can raise a GIRL to hate tights lol.

The problem here is crap/weak/stupid adults. The kids are are a clean slate, nothing wrong with them. We raise them to worry about appearance and whatnot and they grow up with anxiety issues and whatnot.

That like sexuality, gender is a spectrum and for people who identify as gender fluid, a lot of time and thought should be put in before opting for gender reassignment surgery.

Nothing to do with pros and cons of either gender, but there needs to be a balance between getting people the treatment they need asap, and making sure people aren't coerced (if that happens) or rushed into making a decision.

Your post made it seem like these doctors are making people have procedures and treatment that they dont need, just to make money.

I think it means people can confuse gender with sexuality, it works both ways. I’ve had a student I taught for three yrs and they have known they were gay for a long time but within those three years they transitioned from thinking they were gay to trans.

It must be incredibly difficult working it all out in their head and that takes time. There’s no reason not to act out their gender right away but I don’t agree with people going straight for the snip.
