BRAND NEW!!! And it's all mine!

They offer quite a few different types of cars, if it's an NHS Fleet lease scheme. I've had quotes for anything from an Exige, SLK, Range Rover to Volvo V50, Toyota Avensis D4D etc. I've got a couple of quotes on the system now i'll see if i can remember my password and stick em up so you can see what the costs are like.

the amount of numpties corsa ( vauxhall ) bashing on the motors section is laughable, the corsas are by far the best looking superminis on the market, i have the limited edition and love it , apart from the slow 1.2 engine which suits my usage anyway.

The only trouble with the new SRIs is that vauxhall dropped the engine size from 1.6turbos to 1.4s as ppl were buying SRIs and with a decent exhaust and remap you had a faster car than a VXR.

The OPs car has "pentas" as the alloys whilst mine has the 17" twin spokes and i personally would get those pentas sprayed black.

Bashing Vauxhalls has become a parody of itself here. If you mention it the same people jump straight in with the usual rubbish they seem to almost copy and paste from every other anti-vauxhall post they rant.

If you mention BMW's or Mondeo's you get the same people going on about why they're always brought up in these situations when in reality this stigma associated with BMW and Mondeo owners didn't come out of thin air. It was formed by these people preaching about their awesome Fords and BMW's.

The Corsa isn't a great car but it's better than most of the others in its class. Saying the others aren't up to much is rather poor. If it doesn't better them it's just a crappy Vauxhall. If it does then the others aren't any good and it doesn't deserve the credit.

nothing wrong with a crosa; the wifes got one and its ace for the shops and stuff. not too sure about the SRI bodykit on this one; kinda defeats the point. No matter, enjoy.

I did not even know the nhs offered this. Can a f2 dr apply?

Nearly all NHS trusts will have some kind of lease scheme, whether you get offered it or not depends on a few factors determined by your specific trust.

Our scheme covers insurance for you and 3 named drivers (plus any trust employee), fully managed lease so covers all consumables/wear & tear etc. Basically all you need to do is put fuel in it.

Where have I criticised the car?

If you mention BMW's or Mondeo's you get the same people going on about why they're always brought up in these situations when in reality this stigma associated with BMW and Mondeo owners didn't come out of thin air. It was formed by these people preaching about their awesome Fords and BMW's.

Where is all the preaching about how awesome BMW's are? All I see these days is people being told that BMW's are a money pit?

I cannot see a single anti Vauxhall post in this thread from a BMW owner. Infact the anti Vauxhall sentiment seems to only be coming from one person really, so quite what your rant about the 'usual suspects' is I've no idea.

Honestly the 'get offended on behalf of everyone else' squad on here are 10x worse than the people they preach against.

Basically one person took a strong dislike to it and you think that means it's acceptable to derail the thread by railing against an entire group of people? Nice.

If it doesn't better them it's just a crappy Vauxhall.

Change the record.

This is mildly offtopic so I apologize - I realise this is bought via some scheme etc,

In general.. where is the justification in spending 10-15k on a car and then go on about how fantastic the mpg is?? Only made worse when someone tells me theyve sold their 1.6 focus (for example) for a brand new diesel to get an extra 5-10mpg...

Thew new corsa actually looks quite pleasant for what it is.

Maybe its just me but does the title of the thread just grates me

"BRAND NEW!!! And it's all mine!"

i think its the BRAND NEW in caps that does it. Its Like we should be rubbing his back about his BRAND NEW car

I would imagine he is just excited, which to be fair, I would be as well if I just bought a brand new car.
