Brazilian Grand Prix 2013, São Paulo - Race 19/19

Maldanardo really is a dick.

Just finished watching the race. Hope next season livens up or i feel that i will stop watching F1 if not.

New engines is good, new tyre supplier would be even better.

Even though its not brilliant at the moment, I will continue to watch the sport because of not just the racing, but the lols had by reading this forum for it and the excitement of knowing anything can happen. Its just a shame it never does :D

Gonna miss mark in f1.

Yeah, he's a really nice guy. But be honest, does anyone ever think he could have become a world champ? He's a great driver but was destined to always be an also ran. Having someone younger and fresher in the team to challenge Vettel will be far more exciting and better TV than watching Webber.

If Red Bull wanted a driver to challenge Vettel then why did they sign Ricciardo?

You might be right, and I guess RBR are happy to let Vettel continue to be their showstopper and championship hope for a fifth time. But you never know what can happen. We haven't as yet seen another young driver in the fastest cars in F1, ie, Redbull, so anything is possible. Ricciardo might prove to be a worldbeater. Or it could just be that RBR have simply ended up with another aussie to remind them of Mark.

Dunno, Button did it so i don't see why not :p (forgetting Vettel being around)

I can't believe the season's over already. They seem to come and go so fast. I haven't even bothered to watch the last few races (crappy tracks bar Austin) but 9 in a row is just outrageous. Watched a bit of it while on my break and it was nice to see things actually happening on the track!

Will miss Webber being around, as straight-up and honest as they come but a damn nice guy too.

FWIW, it's well documented that i'm not Hamilton's biggest fan but without a doubt that was a racing incident.

Is there a bbc red button website where I can view coverage of todays f1 events after the race finished? I'd like to watch the post race interviews and celebrations which they should have covered.

Thanks

Tuned in at 17 laps as I forgot about it, watched 10 laps and turned it off

First time in years I have chosen to not watch a race when I could. Saw one Lotus out and the other at the back and Vettel out the front, saw massa get a penalty for crossing the line, have seen others cross the line in previous races exiting the pits with no penalty. No penalties for track limits. Pussy footing around delaying starts in intermediate tyre conditions, penalties for overtakes seemingly dependant on random factors.. Inconsistency upon Inconsistency
Drivers paying for seats up to 4th, good tracks getting chopped and requiring state funding to continue

Everything is broken. When the endstone team go I think I'm done, I rreally wanted to watch today but soon as I realised my team were out I lost all interest

Cost of the sport and Inconsistency is killing it for me
All this money spent and on track action is one of the most boring in relation to many other racing series

Definitely time for webber to go, has been outclassed by Vettel
Fairly sure maldanado will end up at lotus :-\ that doesn't help keep my interest for next year

Glad I didn't get sky!

Seeing Marussia celebrating coming 10th in the constructors got me thinking, what can be done with them and Caterham to stop them being totally pointless in F1?

They've both been in F1 for 4 seasons now and lets be honest they're no nearer challenging now than they were when they rolled out of the garage in 2010.

Think they should have merged into 1 team like was muted the other year. Guess they're both hoping the new rules shake it up for them.

Let's not forget the leap Force India made in 2009 after a good few years as spyker and midland f1 being at the back of the grid. And also Honda aka Brawn. So hopefully they can get a bit further down the road, however small the increase is.

They both had money.
The others dont and dont seem to be attracting any new large sponsors.
The brawn car had been in devlopment more and had the most money spent on it than any other car on the grid.
FI finances are rather good.
And with their limit budget aphave seem to go down the, we dont have enough money for a good allrround car like the top teams. So by choice or chance excell at a couple of tracks and average in the others.
