BRINK

Yep, installed the hotfix and it improved a bit, but still unplayable

Tried the 11.2's or/and 11.3's? Lots of people report goodness with them, using the 11.2's myself and can play at a good framerate (45+ average) with shadows and stuff. Worth a shot I guess if you haven't tried them.

Been playing the game the past few hours, after fretting I'd have no end of problems, but am very happy to say that I've had no issues at all. Had no fps issues, no rubber banding, no crashes. SP and MP have both been working flawlessly on my 5850, max settings, 11.5 drivers (without the hotfix)
As for the game itself, I can see myself playing this for a long time to come. It's a fantastic game, and the moans of it being a corridor shooter have no substance. I was actually quite amazed how open and how many routes there are in container city and really enjoyed climbing over containers and finding little passages down back alleys to flank enemies. Great game and very happy I didn't send it back after reading all the negative feedback.

whilst I can get it to work, compare it to any Valve game, or even BFBC2. It's pretty dire :/

I'm loving the game so far, just wish it had a friends browser :)

You don't recall the absolute shamble that the BC2 server browser/friends list was in on release I take it? :p

Brinks nowhere near that. Theres certainly some release bugs, but I've not seen anything game breaking or thats removed frome the enjoyment so far. :)

You trolling? BC2 was in a vastly superior state, you COULD connect to servers, I ran the game at 60fps all maxed, looking a whole lot better than Brink, whilst brink struggles along at 40fps tops.
