**British Armed Forces Discussion Thread**

Yeah carry on man and not yet, I'll sort it out in the next few weeks :-)

You'll be there past 22nd oct, I'll come say ello :) - I've an Alien tattoo sleeve, that'll make it easy to pick me out ;)

Block jobs done, kit ironed, room sorted after bringing back a car full of stuff!

Already sick of being back, and I'm not in work yet lol.

Got some nice magnum stealth boots, and am breaking them in around work and what not. Will pick up so cheepy combats from the army surplus at the weekend to run in for training and the day.
Doing half the distance easily now, albeit without the comando assult course in the way so feeling good.
Just gotta start getting people to sponsor me.
Will help once I try in Nov for my medical again, which I can't wait for really.

Not for joing up, just to run in for the charity run.
I'm trying to join the TA but I keep busting both my ankles, if I make it then I'll get some nice boots of my own. But just to run for a good casue and get me ready for my medical again they cant hurt.

Week one down lol. Lost 1 or two already through medical problems. Had first night exercise which was fun apart from waking up to a fox 6 inches from my face. Ate half my rat pack also.

Been 20 hour days mostly so pretty tired.

Few blisters so far. Gotta say food is great here though.

Thank you to everyone who helped keep the paralympics safe!

I was fortunate to only have to do the Olympics in the end and it was a looong 7 weeks.

I did the olympics at the Royal Artillery Barracks venue, then RIP'd 1 rifles at the O2 arena for the paralympics (including the transition period), spent the first half as a PSA operater and the 2nd as a team leader.
yeah safe to say i was well and truely fed up by the end, it was quite an experience, however not one i wish to repeat in the near future, we ended up being QRF/mentoring the G4S staff towards the end.
