British Grand Prix 2010, Silverstone Circuit - Race 10/19

Button would need a good strategy/lucky break/high attrition to make it to decent points - I don't think he'd trust Kobayashi not to run into him enough to go for an overtake, and with Sutil infront again I can't see him working his way through the field with overtakes.

I'd wonder if it would be worth sacraficing minor points, and taking the penalty and starting from the pitlane with the full upgrade package, if just to get a full race worths of data to work over the next two weeks.

Redbull dominant in quali, not so sure they will drive away with the race though, race pace related to quali seems very different. Mclaren have seemed to improved no end with a full tank of fuel, during race.

Redbull will only lose if they crash or have reliability issues to be honest, they're just too strong here...

Hopefully Hamilton finishes 3rd or maybe 2nd if Webber has a pit issue ^_^

not good performance from button, hamilton usually jumps 1 or 2 cars at the start so hopefully he can do that, button should get a point or two with his straight line speed advantage.

mclarens are a lot faster in the race than in quali so its not all over yet.

At the risk of being shot down here, I'm gonna risk my neck and say Jenson's problem was car related. Be it the setup or be it something mechanically wrong. It did not look right, and I don't personally believe Button is the kind to be saying he's so sure something was wrong when he was just driving badly.

Anywho, just my call.

If anyone was under any illusions that Red Bull aren't favouring Vettel the surely now all doubt is gone. Vettel was given Webber's new front wing after his own one broke. Horner looked very uncomfortable talking about it.

Well i knew from praccy that Mclaren wouldnt be strong. Totally gutted for Jenson and well done for Lewis with 4th

Just hope that RB / Alonso crash or break down letting Lewis get to 1st :)

Makes sense as he has the most points though, would be the logical choice for anyone really.

Hamilton did well, hopefully he have a chance at the podium. Button must be gutted though, at least it will be entertaining if he pulls of some good overtakes tomorrow.

By giving the wing to the person who was fastest in FP3 and currently higher up the drivers championship?

What did you expect? Let the higher placed driver have the slower car as thats fairest on the lower placed driver?
