Got to love Kimi reaction in the winners room. It was like watching a couple of kids and a bored dad.

Vettel was a tyre life issue. They went past it.
Raikkonen had a delamination. Possibly not tyre life, but a failure.

Driver of the day was Rosberg, for his excellent sniper nest and two fantastic hits on ferrari

Loved the race today. With the sports largest crowd and such a great track it's annoying that some people are wanting to give up on Silverstone. It would be a shame to lose it even if we had a Grand Prix approved for somewhere else in the UK.

Surprised at all the 10s this race is getting in the poll. There was some good wheel to wheel action, but there were a few dull spells. 7 from me.
The 10's will be because of where Vettel finished.

I was thinking the same, but was hoping people would be a little more objective and less partisan. Goes the same for those who voted '1' too.
Vettel had a massive lock up defending from Bottas as well a few laps earlier. I bet that didn't help.

They both pushed to hard after the pit stop. Also Vettel had that lockup near the end.
Ferrari should have waited a bit longer as they was never going to beat Hamilton today.
Why? It was a cracking race from start to finish with fights all the way down the field. Cars went off the track and came back on. In particular there were excellent drives by Ricciardo and Bottas.

Pushing for one lap takes something out of the tires, but nothing that can't be 'put back' by taking it easy for some laps later in the race. Vettel had to undercut Verstappen to get past him as he was struggling to do it on track with a faster car so really Vettel had to pit to make that move. Personally I wonder why they didn't 2 stop from the start, push harder, put Ham under pressure. Passing here with much faster tires is no problem at all. From FP2 Vettel did a far shorter run with similar deg to Hamilton then pit and was immediate 1.5 seconds faster, easily. At tracks where new tires make a big difference in pace and where the pitlane has one of the shortest time penalties, two stop is an easier decision to make yet here they hung out a 2 stopper rather than go for the potentially faster two stop and it literally blew up in their faces.

I gave it a 6/10, it was a ok race with the odd good bit by Max fighting the whinger and Danny Ric coming back through the field.
I was there man! I was there! Hamilton was on it all weekend. Visibly quicker every lap and the gap to Kimi just got bigger and bigger. Huge cheer when Bottas went past Vettel and even bigger when Vettel's tyre blew. He had to go off track right in front of us at Becketts and he got a huge round of applause! Hamilton came past us off track too.
