Broken spark plug :(

So far they are being ok in offering to investigate my car but I can't see them paying to be honest. I have a thread going over at VXROnline with mixed opinions.

Fill me in, you had it tuned, stolen, then detuned to sell on, and now this?

Jeez not having much luck I gather :(

I cannot but wonder at others relishing others misfortune at times on this board.

OP all the best with it, I hope it's sorted by TMS without any expense to yourself if it something they have done :)

Thanks, I'm fairly sure they'll sort it. My theory is that the stage 2 map was left on when it went back to standard hence the poor shape of the plugs but we'll see when I get a tech2 on it tomorrow.

Yup.

Every time i mention it on VXRonline though i get my head bitten off. Its just me apparently

Im guessing VXRonline is full up with tuning inspired people then.

I cant see the point of turning a reliable quick car into a unreliable slightly quicker one.

Anyway thats just me, iv chipped a few cars before, but they all had 3.5 litre plus strong engines to start, and they were fun cars not my main transport.

I must just be getting old, i want no drama from what i drive every day.

me either.

There are others on VXRonline who insist they have no problems at all however. So its either A) down to pot luck or B) they are lieing and deluded.

On the internet with people you dont really know .. you cant tell.

anyone got a link to the vxr site about princeys car? would be good to see their views given theyre more familiar with the vauxhalls that most of us would be

i think there is an element of luck. there is a guy where i work who basically copies every car purchase i make. his all run like dogs though and mine are nothing but impecible and i really dont do a lot of fiddling with my cars, they just look after themselves near enough

Oh great, not what I wanted to hear! The car wasn't burning oil as such but I was getting a slight puff on start up which I put down to being the turbo

The complete history surrounding this car keeps changing
