Broken spark plug :(

Legendary TMS reply is legendary, so basically they've just said the work they conduct is so sub standard that customers must double check each job done by TMS to make sure it’s been completed correctly, interesting QA system they've got.

The level of incompetence at TMS just keeps on growing.

Can you imagine Thorney fitting tyres for someone, putting the wheels back on and when driving the car away the wheels fall off. Thorney then says, "Sorry, not our fault. You should have checked the nuts were tightened."

That's exactly what this is.

Hang on a sec before we get too carried away with Thorney, guys.

We only have Princeys word for this and there are two sides to every story.

What value does Princeys word have given based on previous form he'll probably edit it to say something else at some point? Thats what he's done with everything else he's said about this car over the last 3 months. There have been so many conflicting stories from the same person, each re-edited, that it's difficult to know WHAT the situation is.

Thats the perfect comparison.

Substandard fuel (I'm guessing it needs SUP) and/or boost spikes could easily cause detonation so I won't hold out much hope for TMS giving any contribution. Imo the broken plug isn't the cause of the problems but just a symptom.

Not just Princey though but from all the other stories you hear about. They all can't be tales.

Ok then, well to amend what everyone has said, if our man is telling the truth they are taking the ****.

Also you cant help feeling that all the people that have had a drama with that firm cant all have been wrong can they.

 I have the emails if you'd like them forwarded to you?

To be fair it's the Vauxhall performance center thats at fault here as either they haven't taken the map off or/and they didn't check the plugs. There was an obvious ticking when it went it but they put it down to the manifold gasket. The guys at head office in MK where I had the tuning done were great on previous faults. Although the peformance centers are still ran be TMS.

your instruction to them was to revert the car to standard. when they upgraded it they changed the plugs, but didnt do the reverse when you took it back to them.

i take it youhad to pay to return it to standard?

well they failed there because your car came out with their "uprated plugs", one of which failed and fubard your engine shortly after.

sucks to be them

oh, and to top it all off, when he paid TMS for the stage 2 software, it was apparently not applied at all according to the vauxhall people who reverted it to standard

can TMS get worse?

Good lord this is dreadful...just read all of your previous threads. Why, oh why didn't they torch it after stealing it? This is a car owners worst nightmare...sorry for your troubles
