Fuuuuuuuuu, Just moved from one of the FTTP areas on that list![]()
Ordered infinity and engineer is coming a week on Friday
Do they usually use royal mail to deliver the router? Not sure why they don't get the engineer to bring it..
I'm sure the reasons you moved outweigh getting a faster connection lol![]()
Woman on the phone said I can't use my own router, I presume this is wrong?
You had this question answered numerous times already by myself and others.
Yes you can use your own router.
I do apologise for double checking something which BT have themselves stated.

Also when will speeds be increasing beyond 40MB (if at all)?
Easiest way to answer that question would be to ask the woman (why?)
Would have been interesting to see the answer. She probably thought you meant the modem. The staff probably won't be aware you can use other modems (routers with built in VDSL), they won't promote the notion anyway.
Thank you for registering your interest in BT Infinity.
Great news, you could now experience broadband that is four times faster than the UK's average . To see if you can get BT Infinity , all you have to do is click below.
