Doesn't matter what time of the day you upgrade as the profile will be switched overnight between 00:00 and 04:00.

You can do it online via a form in your BT login too.

The form will be available tomorrow. When, I'm afraid I don't know. Probably from 9 am and onwards at a guess.

Thanks will keep an eye out. The speed checker still says 38 down 9.5 up for me using the BT line checker.

...So I gather some are seeing 80Mbps?

Mine says 80/20 yes. Even though it says 63.3 you will likely get 70+ as the estimates are very conservative.

Wow. Well it's a no brainer in my case, I was connected on March 28th so when the form pops up will get on it.

On bbmax my connection has fluctuated since I was connected:
Down: 37400-37500kbps
Up: 8200-8300kbps

so hopefully you're right about the 70+

If you look in this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18340930 there is a way to unlock your BT modem to find out your line stats. My max rates through the modem were 120 down and 30 up, so hopefully BT do another speed jump in the future.

Believe it or not I've already flashed my modem, actually 30 minutes after openreach engineer left, transferred the master socket and flashed the modem

just haven't got around to fiddling with it yet, i.e. need to open up a couple of ports etc... Will definitely look out for the line stats as well as try to figure out why when I connect LAN2 to my DIR-655 still can't get to the setup page on 192.168.1.1

I see the download rate is to be boosted over the coming weeks and those who take the BT Infinity pack 2 from today onwards will be eligible to receive the extra boost.

Do you think current subscribers will receive the boost anyway. I signed up to infinity last week and have the engineer coming out tomorrow to finish things off.

Going to phone them to see.
