id give your isp a bell and ask them as i had a RFS of end of june but im up and running now :D
 
Nothing shows on the Wholesale availability checker (As expected for a BDUK funded cab) so wont the ISP just get the same feed from openreach as that? :)
 
well im with sky and just checked on their site a couple of weeks ago after seing the RFS date going up on samknows to see if i could pre order and it was fully live and i ordered.

just phone up your isp and see if you can order :P
 
What was the wholesale checker saying for your address at the time you ordered? :)

This is all i get (as expected until it officially goes live), i assumed ISP's would have the same info?

really dont understand why its so hard for people to phone up their isp's on here.

as for the checker it says

but yet im still sat on fttc for nearly a week now. just phone up your isp and stop faffing about :P

fair enough, just been a few the last year all doing the same rather than just phoning up the people who should know, their isp :P

btw this is what im on now. going from a 5 meg con to this is sooooooooooooooooooo nice :D

Well, it took over 30mins speaking to utter clowns, getting transferred around between around 6-7 people none of whom understood what i was asking.

I have ended the call with two conclusions:

1) TalkTalk customer services is woeful (although i already knew this)
2) TalkTalk customer facing staff do not have any information which is not in the public domain :(
 
How much is the typical difference when you upgrade to fiber? The exchange is supposed to go live in May 2014 and BT show my speed as 60.1MB. Does this mean it is now live?

i see there is a message on the side must be contractors who put it in and BT do the rest I assume ? as it says what they have done

Checked the BT website today and my cabinet has finally been enabled.

10 minutes later and I've ordered a contract with PlusNet for 76meg and I'm estimated 72 which sure trumps my current 2meg connecting
