good point - especially since Broadband (Fibre) i slonger contract (18 mo I think)
are you sure - on their website - it says 18 months applies for Sky Fibre (maybe as a new customer as includes installation ?_)
no worries - seems the norm atm
same with VM even
I can see being tied into long contracts for mobile phones if you take out an expensive phone - but these broadband/phone contracts (in general) seem to be taking it way too far IMO I can't see the justification
My cabinet just down the street was upgraded to a FTTC one sometime in March and they finished the digging and electrical cabling about two weeks ago but I still can't get it?
Does anybody have any personal experience with how long it takes from completion of a cabinet to the actual offering of the service to domestic customers?
mine goes active tomorrow as well but with sky, got the router sat waiting to be plugged in, says not until tomorrow. wonder if it will work at 0001
It'll work but no fibre till they activate it obviously Connected mine straight up as soon as I got it.
Had mine put on today around 10:30am, getting the full 40/10 and has been rock solid all day so will hopefully stay that way as not to far from the cabinet.
