Well 40Mbps is considered 'Super-fast'
Thanks for your email. I'm afraid we don't have the facility to reset the DLM on FTTC lines the same way we do on ADSL so I can't complete your request. You may have read around the forums that sometimes it can take up to a month for the DLM to determine whether a line is stable enough to lower the SNR again so that everything refreshes back to it's original level. As it stands, your sync speed is 40Mb so all that remains is for the line to remain completely stable and the IP Profile will recalculate automatically. Keep an eye on it for a while longer and it should change itself.
O) and also the power to the modem.

What does this pricing mean? The base prices on the BT site will increase by the above amount?

I think it will be £3.05 more per month over the 40/10 service![]()
That's the increase in the cost from Openreach to the ISPs. The ISPs will be able to charge whatever they like (or think they can get away with) for 80/20.
a) not sure if I would want to stick with it for the extra cost
b) not sure if it's worth the hassle for the trial period (service may be up and down, I work from home sometimes)
c) GF may kill me.
