Bugbear NCG: Wreckfest now has real deal online Multiplayer.

Yeah, the bus race is a whole lot of fun indeed. I must have been on normal damage too (default setting), but it was hard work trying to finish first. I think it boils down to luck in the end as to the positioning of the wrecked busses.

I've been playing this game pretty much all day. I haven't played a game for such a long sitting in three years or more. My desire to play a game is often stronger in theory than in practice. Not to say I've mastered it but I'm certainly having fun! I've renamed some of the AI players (eg: after one of the bosses at work) so that sometimes helps me decide whether to risk a good ram or not! :p

Realistic damage makes the XP multiplier shoot up a fair bit and adds to the risk/reward factor, and thinking about performance vs. armour trade-offs when upgrading.

My multiplier is at 2.01x with realistic damage, automatic gearing and AI at medium - all other driver aids are off.

To anybody sitting on the fence - if you enjoyed Burnout / Flatout / Destruction Derby - You want this!

Well after that last patch into full release my game no longer works. I get to the menu but then then game freezes after 20 seconds and locks my desktop up. Also dont have any menu music or sounds in game ?
I've verified files and it said there was 96mb to re-download hoping this solves it. Dont want to try it yet just downloading something else again after the freeze. Waiting a few years throughout early access and enjoy it then only for it to get finally released and I cant play the damn thing. Hopefully the verify should have done the trick.

Gamermuscle has some really good streams of this on YouTube.

Didn't even know it had gone to full release until I watched these :D

Might jump on later, anyone running an ocuk server or discord room?

well i've just fired it up again, last time I played was over a year ago and it was in the same state it had been for 3 years. Rumour was it was abandoned so uninstalled it.

Thanks to this thread I've not wasted 11.3gb of my download time. The devs have actually finished the game without telling anyone.

Finally a career mode, new cars, modding. All the things they promised then ignored for 3 years of early access actually happened seemingly overnight.

I can't help but think this has had so much bad press due to incompetence, but the steam reviews seem good so hopefully the devs get the reward they deserve

Then you must not been checking Bugbear forum or this thread very often, Bugbear posted plenty of stuff here over the years:

But there been a few times where Bugbear went quiet for couple months. :(

Here some video from career mode, Supervan against a whole bunch of buses. Need to win by 50 yards.

is there anyway to get multiple devices working in the game? my wheel pedals and shifter are all seperate

In older Builds, 4 USB devices were supported. Janne say now Wreckfest supports, see, 12 USB devices. A lot of players been using their sim rig to play Wreckfest.

Can try Wreckfest for 2 hours and see if your wheel setup works fine. If it don't, get the Steam refund.
