Why are you fannying about with USB headers?
Plug the the thing into the mains and see if it works. Sort the detailed cabling once it's working.
Ill need it to use mouse and keyboard to get into bios and such

Plug the mouse and keyboard into the sockets on the back of the motherboard.
And that isn't the USB3 socket so it isn't going to fit.
Plug your mouse and keyboard in rear USB ports.

i think thats where the usb 3.0 header might go not sure though

stevo the usb 3.0 header is to the left of the 24pin and slightly below it
God help you if you ever need to change a 13 Amp plug!
Are you putting it together out of the case first or in it?
