pc turns on and stays on, Monitor wont even turn on now, as in no power

have you tried reseating the power cable in back of monitor? if that dosent work. take the power connector out of your PC and then try it in the monitor (assuming it uses the kettle plug connection)

The monitor turned off when I connected to the motherboard gfx and wont go back on

Ok changed the leads, It works, will I take my comp all apart and give it another clean then leave for 24 hours?

ill need to clean it all with a damp cloth, Would I be better just letting it air dry?

So took it all apart and wiped it down, didnt seem to be much irn bru on the parts, a few stick bits here and there.
