Burnout Paradise - The Ultimate Box

think i'm going to buy this today, what's the online play like?

Very good indeed! You can do what you want, and if you host you can make your own races and set up the routes yourself. The online is also integrated into the single player by the means of 'road rules' where you can set a crash or end-to-end score for each and every road and if you beat someone else's, they get a little popup on screen saying that you have. It's all very fluid and feels very natural.

also any ss of this game not seen hardly any?

I can do some if you want, anything in particular you want you see?

I am very pleased to see only very, very minor popup in the game, also  it's something that the graphic ho' inside me utterly hates to see.

thanks, mainly in game full on action and high end graphics off this game.

really been looking for a good racing game for ages that i dont require to much tech knowledge .just a rev and go nice graphically game to play and fun.

hope its not another grid cause i hated it :(

Well after about 8 hours, im on licence A, got most the smashables and boards, i am enjoying it.
Going to try online tonight hopefully some of you guys will be around, since im getting a bit sick of grinding the orienteering mode in single player.

Can't be bothered doing last 40 events, stunt runs are too hard, but races/marked man/road rages are just far too easy and laborious in the right cars.

Showtime is boring as well, got 50 something of those left. =[

Got all smashes/jumps/boards though, smash reward car in awesome. I was on 399/400 for ages!

Ask if you need any more. :)

I actually found road rage and marked man events to be the tougher ones near the end.

What problems do you have with stunt runs?
A good multiplier route is from the corner of Uphill Drive (i think). Instead of going south on the road, follow the lane next to it. As you go down the west coast, you'll get at least a 6x multiplier. Then another +6 on the motorway under the railroads. Stick to the right as you exit onto cargo containers an there's another +4 or 5 there.
If it's a better base score you're after, try using speed cars if you dont already (i use them for everything :P). Burnout chains really boost your score (eg going from 0 to 10x burnout gives over 50k)

What stats does the smash reward car have? I read somewhere that it was 9/10/7, but the same place also said the billboard car is 10/10/6 which it is not.

Not that great ones, I can't remember off the top of my head but it's only slightly better than the regular GT, and with an annoying speed boost :( I'm a fan of stunt boost really.

I do want to get my hands on that Hawker Carbon though, what stats does it have? I saw the 10/10/6 stats as well on the same place but it also said the WTR had far better stats than it really did.

Nice screenshot :)
Was going to take some myself, but it's difficult to find any standout locations/visuals.

The carbon hawker has 7/10/6, speed type :p

was a bit meh at first few cars but got a sporty white like celica thing and a lot better also the bikes are awesome.

whoever was on about it looked poor needs eyes testing!

shrunk down and for some reason my fraps is coming out a bit darker.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Criterion Games\Burnout Paradise\Save
