haha they look flippin brilliant, so want the cop Mustang lookalike and the McLaren effort ;p

apart from the 'cute' car pack that has to be purchased, will the other cars and stuff update when i run the game or does it require seperate download and install >? anyone >?

yes i get this as well, in particular areas, like south of the map around underneath the motorway, in heavy built up areas.

i've tried lowering AA down from 8x to 0x and no difference, same with resolution. Even gone to RAID0 with 2x Sammy F1's and made no difference, so it wouldn't appear to be a GPU frame buffer or HDD access problem.... ???

I keep SSAO off at all time as well, as it cuts the frame rate in half when on.

Eh? I just launched the game, it asked me to download yesterday's patch, I install it and launch again, it asks me to log in and it says "The product key you are trying to use is invalid"

What gives??? :confused:

Been playing this & there are few things that distract from the Burn feel that i was used to.

Being able to Race without really seeing the competing cars, not because you were so far in front but merely because of the route you took.

The mini map not rotating is a real pain & i end up crashing more often because of looking at it instead of the road.

I'm not sure whether I can be arsed to start over. I had to reformat and lost my saves, I thought they were in my EA account... but no. Is there any way I can download any saves? I don't care if they're complete, I just want to drive while listening to paradise city :)
 
Anyone bought the Cops and Robbers DLC?

I was really looking forward to this... is the online any good for the expansion?

Also, is Surf Island any good also?

No information regarding a PC release for either of the above packs.. I REALLY liked the look of the Cops and Robbers DLC too.

Promise us the world on release along with a very well optimised game (It has to be said) then give us the finger.

So The Big Island DLC isn't on PC yet? Probably the first bit of DLC I was willing to pay for as well. :(

I thought I was just doing something wrong with my game that it wasn't picking up the extra store downloads. :o
 
just re-installed this recently and applied the patch for all the new shiny bits.. all i need now is a decent guide on unlocking them .. im a bit lazy :p
