*******C.A.R.S - Community Assisted Race Sim*********

cant leave it alone and best thing is i never said grid 2 :p

if you want a sim now to play you buy richard burns rally and dl free 2013 mod this is the most realistic driving game period or go play iracing.

wait for this game as it wont be ready for minimum another year yet.

I enjoyed pcars it's not ready but I enjoyed some of the cars and the physics were moving along slowly.

I sold my account to a forum member (not for profit but because I didn't use it as much as I would have liked) but will buy a toolpack again once they are back up for next gen consoles if it ever happens...

He said grid 2 instead of your suggestion. He did not say you said to buy G2.

I'll stick to LFS for physics, none of the others come close :)

Project Cars bound for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam OS

Slightly Mad Studios, the team behind Project Cars has announced their going around track fast simulation will be going around the track on “next-gen” platforms next year, including the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam OS. The team has promised the new console versions will represent “new benchmarks of graphical fidelity and technical power” as team aims to set a “new standard” for car games. Additionally, the team revealed the Steam OS version will include “specific multiplayer and social features” that are apparently only possible on new operating system.

ps3 x360 versions scrapped

Adding the WiiU to that list of consoles seems a bit... stupid.

From what I understand it isn't a massive job to get pCARS working on the WiiU, especially when you compare it to trying to get the game running on the old gen (current gen) consoles. There have been many times over the past year or so where the devs have said something along the lines of "Still struggling to get x feature into a state where it can go on the consoles too," the tyre model being the major one that comes to mind. By ditching the older consoles they have removed all the touch up work needed on the old tyre model they were using back in the early days of the project.

Also, being the only decent racing sim on a console (as far as I know) cant be a bad thing even if it is the WiiU

I think they're trying for spring next year.

I haven't played in ages, might give it a go over the weekend and see what's changed.

Apparently McLaren Automotive cars will be in the game too.

MP4-12C GT3 is my favourite car in iRacing, so it'll be interesting to compare.

lol assetto corsa steam early release with no ai or multiplayer :D

pcars must be miles ahead of them in the dev process and people thought this was moving slow

went to see when asseto and cars started out when i seen that atleast he knows richard burns rally is the one to beat ! :D

The community agreed it's better to remove rally racing at the current time, in order for it to receive appropriate attention. The team intends to create a rally simulation that will rival Richard Burns Rally, which despite its age, is still very popular amongst sim racing rally fans. After taking a vote, Ian Bell (head of studio), decided the development team would consider designing rally racing as DLC or as a standalone product (or both) 3 months before Project CARS ships.

Yeah, yeah, we get it. You like Richard Burns Rally.

No need to mention RBR in this thread ever again.

Honestly, we get it.

You keep telling us you like Richard Burns Rally in a thread about a game call Project CARS.

Why don't you start a RBR appreciation thread instead of bother us about it in the

Project CARS thread!!!!
