Had a blast on this tonight and really enjoyed it. Bmw gt car sounds so good! I wish i had access to more of the cars and tracks, but I'm still struggling to master the more technical tracks (Monaco in formula A is insanely unforgiving). Looking forwards to more development.

I'm gobsmacked by its early quality. and people were getting hyped for FM5 lmao. Is it playing like this now?

Panning around the rear of that Porsche and watching the the Focus hammering along the straight from the heli cam gave me goosebumps.

There are some very good videos for pCARS, most of them made by the community.

Bear in mind that the game had been in development over for two years now, so it shouldn't be a surprise as to how good it looks.

Do you mean IGN are erroneously using a pCars screenshot in an IGN article?
 
Spent a few hours on the new build and the FFB with a T500 is really good. The new challenge with the Caterham at Donnington is super tough.

Managed to reduce the oversteer I was getting in slow corners by increasing the engine braking and adjusting the roll bar and now I feel comfortable with all the aids disabled.
 
Worth another bash if you've not played in a while. New FFB (Less canned effects and more direct) really makes the cars come alive.

It's by no means perfect but a lot of cars are becoming great to drive and close to what many people feel they would be like to drive in the real world.

Soon we'll be seeing direct comparison on some cars as Ben Collins, Nicolas Hamilton and Oli Webb will all be driving the cars in real life.

It's taking shape now - with more cars, tracks and features on the way in the coming months I'm pretty excited.
 
pCARS is shaping up to be a fantastic sim. Another year of development will make it the best on the market. I can't wait for it to be finished especially after the disappointments of AC and rFactor 2.
