*******C.A.R.S - Community Assisted Race Sim*********

Wow, I have to say I have been looking at the screenshots of this game and have been tempted to purchase for a while and today I did only the 22 quid one.

I was disapointed with Rfactor to be honest, this just blows everything else I have ever tried away, apart from I racing which should be classed as a different sim. The graphics, gameplay, etc are just fantastic you can see this will be a cracking game/sim in time.

Just posted a world record :cool: not sure if I should feel special or not as I should think I will beat it later today

Got the Team Member pack yesterday and am really impressed! Graphics are great, but am only using an Xbox controller for it... How much better is the experience with a quality steering wheel?

Well sometime last year I paid for one month and got 3 months at I racing, I was sutably impressed untill I wanted to get in another car and found it so expensive.

I was impressed with the format of the racing though, it was addictive as it was so competitive the points system etc were good. I did not renew my membership as I did not want a game to cost so much.

If C.A.R.S. ran a multiplayer like iracing it was be awsome. dont get me wrong from what i have played its the best racing sim I have played, the graphics are stunning, the gameplay seems fantastic, the controls are great. This will be somthing else when it comes out.
 
Thinking about getting this. I also only have a 360 controller at the minute.
Ill get flamed for asking this but can you put a 'braking line' on? I like to have it on along with abs with all other assists off, at least thats how i play forza.

I'm waiting for pCARS to release some street cars (like 911, M3, GTR, Lambos etc) and then I will try it myself.
 
Yeah I must say I was put off by the lack of street cars, but im still finding the Ariel Atom awesome to play with, even if the AI keep destroying it :p

Edit: Also does anybody know how to make custom decals with GIMP? I tried using the templates and tutorial on WMD Forums but I still failed :p

Is a G840 going to be enough to run this well? It's just the minimum spec says dualcore 3ghz and mines 2.8.
 
When is multiplay likely to make the build?

Those screenshots look better then FMV even from a few years back, bit much for for my old 4870. I hope it exercises the CPU just as much

probably. the G840 is a much better dual core than a lot of 'faster clock rate' dual cores

not for a while yet. they literally started work on it a week or two ago and its a MASSIVE job
