i'm up for that. judging by the noises coming from the thrustmaster event i would suggest banning traction and stability for all time trials because, if you tune a car to work with the assists, you can gain a good second or two by using a setup that would be unstable without the assists but relatively easy to drive with them

i suggest that whoever comes in last chooses the car/track combination for the next time trial unless they've already chosen recently
 
Im eager to do some time trailing, I've not been spending long enough testing/playing Pcars, so anything that adds a little more interest is good. :)
 
Big fan of GTR2. Modded up as much as I can. Over 300 tracks and loads of cars.
I still think it looks fantastic even by today's standards,and drives very well.

On to point.
Will Project CARS have multi player with AI grid fill. This will be the `to buy or not to buy`decision for me. Graphics are all well and good but I really want to be able to race with friends and have the circuit alive with other cars.

obviously it doesnt have multiplayer now because they're in the middle of getting the multiplayer servers working, but i cant see any reason why it wouldnt have multiplayer with AI

hopefully i can try and get a refund.

im sure some of you enjoy the game but i cant get on with it at all.

no matter what settings i try the game feels all wierd. i cant get my pedals setup properly either and changing the deadzones/sensitivty ingame doesnt help any.

i have to press the pedal halfway before the rpms even start to rise so i get almost 0 feeling and the forcefeedback does freaky things to my wheel

This game has pretty poor physics considering its meant to be a sim, has a very long way to go before its on same level as iracing or netkar pro, even gtr2 has better physics and thats about 6 years old...

its a shame you couldnt get it working because i suspect it was a one off problem with the game rather than a general problem

I spent a couple of hours trying out the different cars and tracks last night and managed a 1st on Concord in the F68 Cromwell V8, I was quite surprised and impressed until I checked and only 3 other people have set times using that car on that track. :p

I also managed 3rd on Delaware in the Oval Stockcar, out of 186 so was happy with that. :)
 
on some of the rubber strips on corners they need to taper them to the bends

on belgium for eg the natural line on a few you come out of the bend and instead of the natural curve being followed it just finishes with a square bit :confused:

this makes no sense as it would be tapered .

you come of the none tapered bit your lap is lost :rolleyes:
 
Can you get a screenshot of what you mean Dg? i don't understand exactly, also get it posted on the pcars forums and check some youtube Spa videos of the section to compare too.
 
not a member anymore but i have a go with my mate at his house . would make the tracks better though.

also edlewiess great world record on berlin :cool:

i hope the slowdown bug that's being reported doesnt stop my assault on the leaderboards. i'm so close to getting #1 on Hockenheim GP (badenring GP) with the stock car
