Camoe the scammer is pwnd?

When I found his mobile number on his site after finding his Facebook photography group I couldn't believe what I'd found, and then when it was just plain text - not even an image!

Well here's another twist to the story. I've just had two emails from him to confirm he's paid the remainder of what he owes me AND sent a full refund to Synixx. Winrar. :D

So fair play, he paid up in the end. But I don't believe for one minute he'd have done so without this thread, the swift and decisive action of the Dons and the pressure everyone piled on with. Talk about the road to self-ruin. If he'd kept his mouth shut, paid up OUR money when we first asked, he'd still be here and his four accounts would have gone un-noticed for who knows how long. Oh well.
 
Surely a 'Scammers Archive' would be better.. reserved for those that have scammed.

Although I think it would have to show the resolution of the problem if they resolve it in full.

See my post above yours. He just paid us both in full. ;) Hopefully he's learnt a lesson from all of this, the least of which is not to mess with GD. :p

Now double check the emails and your paypal account to make sure they are genuine :D

Was it just the two of you who got hit or were there others who haven't come forward?

I don't know mate, only the Dons would have access to that info I'd imagine. To be honest (and I KNOW Cameron is reading this) I don't think he originally started out with bad intentions. He's just a dumb immature kid who threw a strop, got all high and mighty and literally provided his own rope and hung himself. Hopefully he's now learnt something, and will grow up and realise that you can't just rip people off like this.

He's lucky myself and synixx didn't just go straight to the police. Being 'escorted' down to your local police station in full view of your neighbours because you've been a dirty scammer isn't something most people would have enjoyed... Think on my friend. You have a lot of growing up to do judging by your actions over the last few weeks. Let's just hope he hasn't slipped past us with yet more dupe accounts. We don't need people like him on here.

Ahh fair enough, I just wondered if anyone else had been in touch with you when you asked earlier in the thread! Having had no direct communication with him, its hard to tell whether it was intentional or not - what he did comes across as either
a) the actions of a scammer out to make a few quid and disappear behind the 'anonimity' of the internet or
b) someone who actually had some stuff to sell, ****** up posting things out to save pennies and then didn't want to refund so tried to hide

either way, its inexcusable and his attitude towards the issue seems to suggest option a) especially with the whole "im not a shop?" thing :p
