Canadian Grand Prix 2012, Montréal - Race 7/20

Oh come on Sky, your as bad as us lot on this forum. Hamilton just won a great race, and all you want to do is moan about stuff.

Get in the garage and get some celebrations and things!

To be fair, until around lap 65 3rd still seemed fully on the cards. The tyres just dropped away massively right at the end.

Given that consistent results are valued above all this season I would have just pitted alonso to guarantee 15 pts rather than risk getting anything less than that. Alas Alonso would still be leading the championship if they had done that.

Easy to say it with hindsight though. :)

Its not random, its close.

You need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Looking at a single race result and claiming its all to random is like those people who claim Global Warming based on temperatures from the last 10 years...

The F1 WDC is awarded for results over 20 races, not 1.

I don't think its random at all.

Oh what the hell is Jaques on about? Someone punch him.

He is ****.

Yeah Sam Michaels on the Sky coverage just pointed out that there was 2 laps after Hamiltons stop where Ferrari could have pitted Alonso and come out in front of him.

If Ferrari did think about pitting, they clearly thought about it for more then 2 laps at which point it became to late.

So, Button who is apparently excellent at preserving tyres, mashed all his sets this weekend and at a previous race was excessively beaten by his team mate *who is apparently a tyre shredder* who did one stop less and started well behind him...

Hmmmmmmm......

The next time I watch an F1 race, I will be in my new home..... yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! :D :D

F1 house warming party around yours :)

i wonder if any driver even wants schumachers seat anymore............

It does seem cursed. Do you have any details on the DRS mechanism on the Merc? Schumacher said it was a combination of mechanical and hydraulic. To complicated for its own good?
