NASCAR wins though. They still have numerous (5?) nuts per wheel, and they can change them almost as fast.
I was watching the Grand-Am race from Mid-Ohio on Motors last night. Admittedly I haven't seen much of it before, apart from a few hours of the Daytona 24, but when I first saw the GTs come in to change tyres I was like 'they're still using 5 stud wheels!?!' and then I noticed the guys with the guns were like ninjas. They must have had the wheel off and on in less than 5 seconds - it was ridiculous!

Maldonado, one hit wonder.. literally.

Not strictly true.
We wondered how he only got away for a 5 place grid drop for deliberate swiping Hamilton.

Then we wondered how he got away with only a 10 place grid drop for deliberately swiping Perez..

So that's 2 hits off the top of my head. ;)

may be he didnt hit them deliberately, he just cant drive for toffee

Higher temperatures today, so mclarens to go backwards? Unless Lewis can do something special with the tires and have the team not mess everything up

To be fair to Maldonado, who isn't the most like-able chap, he is quick.

it's always better to be quick and error prone than just plane slow. At least that is what they say in motorcycle racing.
