Catalyst 10.6 Released

Hmm i'm getting a failed to load detection driver error with these. back to 10.5a till they are up on the ati site.

It is a Powerplay setting I believe. UVD is the video processor on the ATI cards, when idling my 5870 will run at 157/300 clocks, when accelerating video it switches to the UVD clocks which are 400/900. If your card is accelerating the video the clocks should switch to a different state than idle.
 
I can't find any speed info in CCC.

I fired up GPUZ and watched the sensors. The clocks did shift from idle speeds up to their max clocks, but then went down to 450/450 odd each.
 
Working fine for me, however I never received the customary reboot after install message nor did I get the ati pop-up after reboot. Not quite complete methinks..
 
No BSOD for me with crossfire 5770's, no popup or reboot message either but i just did it anyway, will give them a test out and report anything out of the ordinary, came from 10.4b to these so hoping they are ok for BFBC2 as the 10.4b's were fine.
