I have a feeling that Merse is right as well and we've missed the boat now if Henry goes and we'd have to play very, very well to qualify for the CL next season.

Arsenal defended when they scored as they were a man down. It Barca had pushed on strong after scoring against 11 men then Arsenal could easily have destroyed them on the break. You're suggesting the game would have been played the same had Arsenal still had 11 men on the field, when obviously it wouldn't have been the same.

i would say the majority of his games would have been alongside either Scholes or Lampard and has played to defensive role.
And that pic was when he was made mascott by Everton in a bid to sign him.

No why would he, there was only two english players in the arsenal team. Hardly an advertisement for english football. To be honest I was a neutral, didn't seem like watching an english club in europe to me. I dont mind the foreign players but I'd like to see a spine of english players through the club. Or atleast british.

11 on 11 with the mood barca where in, I dont think arsenal wouldve lost to be honest. I felt for pires having to come off.

Fact of the matter is Arsenal still had their chances to kill the game. Barca had their chances and took them. The better team won regardless of any bad refereeing.

I agree, they were looking sharp, and I feel very strongly that with 11 men Arsenal would have won.

Not having a dig Kev , I know you must be a bit down.
Everytime we play them all the little digs , trips , pushes that happen on and around the half way line anger me.
Nothing fouls that just slow the game down and take the pressure off your defence.

a lot of teams do it , but i notice it more against Arsenal.
