can you believe the interview with Mourinho on sky sports
he wants uefa to repeat the game

i know it wasn't a red card etc but stuff like this happen in football all the time he should just get over it

it almost looked like he wanted to cry

I knew he would ask Geoff Shreeves about the guys in the studio's opinion before stating his.

Then he brings Essien and the Liverpool saga into the interview before discussing the game which he didn't do anyhow and walked off in a huff.

I had to laugh at the interview though but I was waiting for Geoff Shreeves to pull out a question which would really wind Mourinho up which would have been a classic.

Messi was utter class tonight - gonna be an awesome player (although he already is!)
Thought chelsea might of been able to hold on but its not over yet!

Straight red was a bit harsh but combine the first shocking challenge on messi and then that think it was probably justified. Dont think Messi made a meal of it - just got bowled over-
Cant believe the Chelsea fans booing all barca players - idiots!

I missed the interview? why does he have to bring liverpool into it? Why cant he take the blame for his sides bully tactics? he tells his players to kick the other team, so del horno got what he deserved. Mourinho is just an idiot, plain and simple :)

i wouldn't go that far and call him an idiot

some of his comments are questionable but remember he is a highly competitive person

but listening to his whining and some of his excuses are funny sometimes

I take issue with that. Ive seen the antics of tonight in many a spanish game, but never in a SeriaA game.
Ive seen many Italian games and in general they are the worst when it comes to the dirty tactics (diving etc).

Also the most entertaining part about tonights game was Maureens interview after the game.

lol Mourinho is great, him and Lehmann should do stand up, I'd pay for tickets to see that. Mourinho delivering the one liners, while Lehmann acts like a clown. :)

I think Chelsea are hated by press and other football fans alike cos of the stupid comments he makes and the way his team plays. they got beaten fairly today. He's still bitter about liverpool for some reason, but thats his problem. Maybe not an idiot, a bit harsh maybe, although you are right he is entertaining.

Lets see how Barcelona play on grass now :)

You need Neville there too. He's always got something to say even if most of it is crap.

Did i miss something?? I thought it was a header from about 2 yards out! I wouldn't exactly call it stunning.

Ronaldinho's run, brilliant diagonal ball, good cutback, pinpoint cross, confident header - hallmarks of a great goal imo :)

Mourinho's post match interview is a complete joke. That man has his head so far up his own arse he needs a snorkel.

Unjustifyed & misinformed.
Ive never seen antics like this from Milan, Juve, Inter, Udinese, Fiorentina or Roma.
Ive seen occasional diving, but thats common in all teams & leagues.
But the likes of what Barca were upto. I dont think so.

Well that stunk - red card completly changed the game... Chelsea could never get a footing and were always going to be on the back foot with a man less.

At some points I could swear I was watching the Italians with some of that awful diving. Messi should get pulled up for that bloody role, ridiculous... ref was god damn awful and that guy who's name was spelt something like pirlo's (pyvol ??) was knobber and needed nutting. What a gay haircut he had as well hope he traps it in a floorboard.

You talk a load of complete garbage if you don't mind me saying. They're not hated by the press. The press love Chelsea, Abramovich and Mourinho because they sell newspapers.

I also doubt that Chelsea are hated by 'football fans alike'. Personally, i find it hard to hate Chelsea. Mourinho has been a breath of fresh air since taking over Chelsea. I'm sick of jealous people like you who suddenly are filled with hatred just because someone is successful.

From the posts ive read of yours, you seem to lack any real knowledge of football. Get over your Liverpool bias and take those blinkers off.

After Larsson came on Barca absoultely hammered Chelsea, they said this Chelsea defensive wall was at times unbreakable but Barca tore it apart. Chelsea had no answers to wave after wave of Barca attacking. What a treat that was to watch :D

Messi is innocent.
He only started to get up, looked to see where the ref was, and then began rolling around. ;)

All good having a pop at Messi but just like Glenn Hoddle said, Del Horno did the EXACT same thing. He looked up at the ref and rolled about but Sky chose to focus on Messi. Why did nobody point out that his tackle on Messi before warranted a yellow and this one should have got a yellow so would have got a red card. Two penalties for Barca turned down as well so who really got the rough end of the stick here from the ref?

Messi may have rolled about, but no more than Del Horno. Puyol was a little lucky not to have got a second yellow. To be fair Barca had one certain penalty not give, and on another day the handball in the 1st half could have been given too. So I don't think the ref was in favour of Barca.
